if you are using straight buds for canna butter you can use a lil over a half ounce per stick 1/4 lb. Put the butter in a crockpot on high with a few cups of water let it all melt then add in ground up bud. put the lid on and let it sit on medium-high for 2 hours stirring every 20 or 30 mins...

Ya i actually ended up going a little bit too long on my lemon kush and got some mold on the bigger buds, really hurt my harvest but still copped a lil over an oz and i made some lemon kush hash oil out of the moldy buds, some of the best tasting hash oil ive ever had.
