The foil doesn't cause the hot spot itself. What happens is that you will get a crease or wrinkle, that will refract light and cause a tiny magnification effect by directing too much light to a singe area. That area becomes the hot spot. This is simple physics nothing for you to believe or...
You won't die.. You may piss out your ass violently like a Wagner Paint Sprayer and you may convulse until you are quivering bag of piss and shit but you probalby won't die... Unless you didn't chew it.. Did you chew the hash???
So I am loading up the second half of my SOG with Nebula and Pot of Gold. I run a very dense garden (3 plants per sq ft) so I know the Nebula will do great in this environment but I am not to sure on the Pot of Gold. Anyone out there ever grow this strain in a dense SOG??
I love Coco but it has it's disadvantages also. It isn't as forgiving as soil and you must supply 100% of all nutrients. There is nothing at all in Coco from a nutrient standpoint. Coco can also be reused. I wouldn't do it unless yo you are growing in several 3 gallon+ pots. It is very hard...
As a Connoisseur, I suggest you use a hemp wick, as no connoisseur wants to taste butane. (your BIC)... Also, fluffy nugs are usually strain specific (many sativas) or more often caused by not enough lights. Density is a sign of lots of energy going into bud production..
Depends on the strain and the spectrum of light you use to veg. If you veg under to much red, you will stretch your plant and have huge internode length, but you may reach 18" pretty quickly. For most plants using MH to veg or Flourscent I think you would be at 18" in a few weeks. Depends on...
Well I grow in Coco with basically all Canna nutrients. I use House and Garden Root accellerator and Drip Clean, otherwise I use all Canna nutrients. I use Coco A + B, (I don't use an enzyme product unless I am using larger pots. I am growing SOG right now so I only use 1 gal pots and I don't...
If you don't have an exhaust fan and ducting taking the heat OUT of the closet, your closet will probalby be hard to get below 90 degrees. If you live in an area with high humidty and high temperature and you don't have AC you will be totally fucked... You need an Inline fan with a HPS light...
If I were growing in 5 gallon buckets I would expect to pull a minimum of 6 oz per plant.. That is what I would expect with a one week veg. If you are flipping when your ladies are 18", I assume that you have been vegging for a bit. If that is the case, depending on strain I would expect to...
I wouldn't clone just yet. I would wait a few weeks as you may have stressed the plant. Remeber that your cutting will never be healthy and more vigirous than the mother was at the time the cutting was taken. I would wait until you are 100% positive that your plant isn't stressed. If it is...
Wow.... Hard to see that picture. The background wall color is totally killing the white balance of the picture so it is just super saturated and hard to see. Also, if you have a HPS light on it, turn it off for the picutre and it will look much better. Here is a picture with the light on...
also depends on your system. If you are using a deep water culture you may only add nutrients once a week but you will top off your water through out the week. Or maybe you always top off with nutrient mix as well. In a drip system, you are basically giving your plant a constant nutrient...
Actually the yellowing of leaves during flowering has nothing to do with flushing. When you are in flowering mode, the plant will send all production through it hormones (auxins) to the buds for the most part. The yellow is because all the Nitrogen is being directed AWAY from vegative growth...
Actually trichs changing colors is a chemical process "decarboxilization" fancy word for drying. It is very much a biochemical process of the plant and not strain specific. Trichome size and shape are strain specific, this is why sativas will have longer thinner trichomes where Indicas will...
