Not only a great salad, but it provides camaflage for the ferts, lights, etc when daughter gets curious about dads' garden. The basil went into some awesome pad-kapow cooked by my Thai wife. If you've never eaten thai food when you have the munchies, you're missing out.

My source for weed never had seeds, so I had to buy the first batch. I tested my set-up with lettuce, basil, pepper plants, and tomatoes first though. If you can't get bagseed, try growing some veggies first. It will give you more confidence your first real run.
