Hello all. My light burned out today and my cuttings experienced 4 hours of darkness before I caught it. I've never had this happen before. Will this effect my clones? I don't want them to go herme on me... They were in complete darkness for the entire 4 hours. Has anyone had this happen...

I agree!!! The Heneral Hydroponics 3 part is great, especially if you have hard water. The hard water micro is a great product!!!

One more idea I can offer, and I hate to say it: If you can't afford the $15 dollars right now, go buy some PH paper. It's cheap, and pretty accurate. But it only reads in increments of 1. so you can't get a reading of say, 5.5. only readings like 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, etc. But, if you're a soil...

You need to go buy buffer solutions asap.... That is the only way you will truly know what the meter is reading. Tap water can change at any time. also, you said vinegar of around 2.5ish....that's not exact!! You need exact. And, some PH meters do not like to take readings as low as 2.5...

This is what I use too, and seems to work nicely. And, I found it for $1.99 a pack at Fred Meyer's. At that price I was able to very cheaply line my whole veg and flower rooms. If your careful and meticulous, you can stretch it very tight and get the wrinkles down to almost nothing... -Snut

I think you said it just fine, actually. If the PH spikes in either direction, then adjust it. But I do not believe that in the event of a PH spike it is necessary to flush the plants. you'd just be losing time. Like you said, they will show you when they need help...
