burry the stems all the way to the first set of leaves. the burried stem will grow roots. and then u dont have to mess with a splint, witch IMO just get in the way.. oh n i cant see the attachment, idk why?

keep a good eye on the temps tho. if you let them get way up there you'll b in some real trouble. be ready to get air circulating if the temps start to climb. maybe have a fan in the grow room doorway pulln colder air from the rest of the house if possible

you want to drop your temps bro, try to keep it around 70-75ish. and 6.8 is okay, you wanna lean more towards 6.0 though, N and a few other elements arent absorbed very well when PH is above 6.5, witch could explain your nute burn, as your plant will eat but have an abundance of some nutes...

looks to me like severe heat stress, or your PH is off. a lil bit of both actually.... do u check PH, and whats your setup like? temp/lights/nutes...

thats a good size room, i would vent it once a night right befor lights go out just to be safe though.

forreal, i thought i got off with a good deal of $400. its was new, but you really cant beat what you got. going with the 400 is a good idea, then u know for a fact everything works properly, and will have a warranty.

if you do it right, you will get alot more bud using the light to grow then the bud you could buy from selling it lol

once plants get a sorta big, iv heard they use 1sq ft. of O2 per hour. this is just hear say tho, IMO its more like 1 sq ft. per 3-5 hours. so it really depends on the size of your room.

damn, i live in the NW, i have to fight cold temps in the winter, and high temps all summer and fall. but yea the AC sounds best, you could also put a bucket of ice in there, witch would raise your room humidity, and drop temps probly atleast 5 degress, but its kind of a choir to put a new...

well in my experience plants will start to suffer around 80-85. this really depends on the strain tho. some plants can withstand temps of 100 easily, some will suffer at anything above 75. but 80-85 generally.

the ballast is inside the lamp, hanging witht he bulb. this is why the 150W sunsystem lamps are only about $100.

oh, and if you can raise the room CO2 level, and humidity, the plants can withstand higher temps. its hard to dial it all in correctly, but is very helpful once u get it down =]

this is actually a myth, or atleast very missunderstood. a fan blowing on the plant does not simply strengthen the stem from the force pushing on it, it is giving the plant as much O2 as possible, and carrying the oxygen the plant releases away from the plant.( witch most growers have a problem...

i have 2x 150 watt sunsystem lamps. its the ballast that is creating most of the heat, try to get another fan for above the lamp circulating air, and keep one on the plants. but dont point it dirrectly at the lamp, this will create a big ass heater lol also droping the temp of the rest of the...

yes, i have tried this. and got GREAT results :eyesmoke: im doing it to another plant ATM also, the rooting branch has not taken root yet tho ( did it yesterday) i plan on doing this to many many more plants. [edit] the plant in the pics was chopped early due to me being out of smoke lol

what you are seeing are stipules, your plant hasnt actually showed sex yet. you got atleast a week untill it will show IMO. heres a pic that shows/eplaines what im talking about better.
