so just wondering, has anybody ever tried, or seen someone here try to flower 15 plants at once under 1x 1000W HPS? jus trying ta think of ways to make it all fit good.

yea, CFLs will help. make sure they are in the yellow/orange/red spectrum though (3000-2700)

incandescent light is useless to plants... if you get the colored CFLs it might help, but im not sure if that changes the actuall spectrum wave-lengths, or just the color you see.

i had white slime killing my hydro plants, the slime will turn brown soon. its a type of pythium. a combo of concentrated h2o2 and bleach did the trick. but ur in the same boat i was, the problem isnt simply solved by the h2o2, it just keeps it at bay for time being. you deffinatly should try...

yea neither did i untill RIU haha you just wanna be more careful then with H2O2, less is more! i use less then 1 T spoon for a 20 GAL resivour and make sure non of the dead worms get back into the system. that will cause a whole heep of trouble..

im assuming you dont use organic nutes, since you've already done a H2O2 bath. try giving em a rinse in a bleach solution, pretty much same as H2O2 but a bit stronger. i use 1ML per gal.

yea, more amendments ta airate the soil would have helped alot. but im pretty sure most of those crystal things expand when they get real wet. i would get a fan blowing gently over the top of the soil, and when my soil get compacted i use a chopstick(or any thing long and slender) to poke tiny...

what color are the burns? orange/rusty, or black/brownish?? and what your friends said about "to hell with your leaves, its the buds you want" thats all media hype/myth BS... leaves are batteries, and create the buds. if your worried about the buds, you must first worry about the leaves =]

yea, iv flipped my plant upside down to check the roots too haha. but if it doesnt seem to be root, or potbound your soil may just be really compacted and not letting oxygen to the roots, and not obsorbing water. when you flush try to pour it through slowly so you dont push down the soil more...

that depends on how you grow, if you use the same solution mixture (same amount of nutes) throughout the entire flowering phase it should be okay, but usually most people have a bit more N at the beggining of flowering, and slowly tapper off to having much more P-K the last few weeks. witch is...
