Did you happen to realize you've hit the magic post number? ;)
Tell me more. I don't trust anything I read from a seedbank, and rarely do I trust breeders who have their own sites. The two exceptions are Sagarmatha and Mandala. This is why I asked for input from people who've grown the shit...
Hermies aren't all bad. Free feminized seeds are a nice bonus. Sucks you lose a plant, but if you have the ability to move it away from the rest of them, and do some selective pollinating, creating feminized crosses is really nice - and you don't lose more than a few grams for doing it...outside...
K. Jazzman's Gal mentioned this strain, and now you have. Being as it's a 90% sativa strain, do you seriously think this is something I could pull off where I'm at? What you're saying about yield is really...'interesting' seems to be a very lame word for how I feel about pulling off 2lb plants...
Thanks for taking all the time you did, babe. Much appreciated. This is the kind of response I'm really hoping to get. I like to hear reports about performance in all the pertinent areas; it really gives me a much better insight into a strain, which is what's going to sell me on choosing a new...
All good. I didn't take offence, and as you can see, I just slung it right back. ;) But what I'm talking about isn't indenting, it's simply separating paragraphs. I want to be able to hit enter a couple times, and put a blank line between my paragraphs - as there's supposed to be. But it doesn't...
PM me to remind me. I'm headed to bed, but I'll tell you what I know, tomorrow. But check out my other thread on this topic. I haven't checked it yet today, so there might be some information there, and I'm hoping for more. I've got the same question asked on 3 other forums, and it'll be on a...
Love the sarcasm. Thanks. ;) If that worked, doncha think it'd be a little unlikely I'd be asking this question? I just hit enter like 10 times before printing this sentence, and you see what happened. Nada.
getawaymountain - I didn't look hard, but I didn't see a website for Kootenay in the first few results, so I'm gonna assume you picked up your seeds from a seedbank. Know which one?
First off, two things: One, sorry I'm so long-winded. Can't help it. I've always been this way. But I want people answering this to have a really good idea of what my situation is so they can make the best-informed recommendations possible. Secondly, an incidental question because this is...
I can recommend two strains from personal experience: Diablo - no idea who it was from, but I can find out if you're interested. Actually, I am going to find out anyway, because I want some for next year, and I'm already hunting for prospects. 2nd week of September in Nova Scotia, if memory...
Long, long wait for a response, but I'm from NS, and I've got some recommendations for ya, if you're still interested. Diablo is a medium yielder - 100-150g/plant - about 5' tall. Finishes a little on the early side for around here - 2nd week of Sept, if memory serves. Despite the fact that it's...
How it is now, I dunno. I've corresponded with the breeder a fair amount, and back in 2010 he told me that the parents of the strain that was being sold before that had been lost, and that he was breeding for new parents, but hadn't finished yet, as of when I'd talked to him. I haven't spoken to...
The strain isn't all that stable - or wasn't, back then (more on that in a moment) - so pretty much every plant is going to be different than every other. Of the (I think) 4 that turned out to be female, two were similar, and the other two different from those, and from each other. Only one of...
Nobody? Not one single person out there ever has done this? I realize it may seem a little too much - and definitely if you're not growing commercially but just for your own smoke - but are you all telling me that I'm the first person to think about the possible benefits of this? Or are y'all...
Ahhh, gotcha. I don't know why I never thought of that. Not that it would be an option in your current grow, obviously, but were the results you saw with the fogger a big improvement over the way you've got it going now? Like enough to warrant converting your system to something like I'm talking...
Went and checked it you...very nice looking! Posted, too.
I'm curious though, what do you mean you don't wanna contaminate/damage your root growth? In what way?
Alright. You sent me here and I came and read pretty much the whole damn thing. There were like 3 times I wanted to reply to shit, but it was too far back, and wouldda wound up being redundant at this point, anyway.
I do have one piece of advice for future: if you can, grow from clones. I know...
