Woah. You found the caps lock key. Good job. - stoner ste, Hell yes T5's will be enough for veg. A 4-bulb*54 watt fixture(216W) is around 20,000 lumens(and they start around $150, bulbs probably not included). Similar to a 250w MH. Using 34 less watts, if that matters.

What glass container can I use to cure large harvests?

Rubbermaid(or housebrand) container lined with aluminum foil. Like those ones many people use for aeroponics and such. It carries all the desirable traits glass has for curing. Like being non-pourous and nonreactive. Or you could put a bunch of mason jars with their lids off in one...

    question on ballasts and cooling

It'd depend on the total wattage of each one. CFLs aren't necessarily better than HPS(lumen for lumen, they definitely are; watt for watt, no; 'better coverage' with less watts, very likely). It's more of a demonstration on how to get the most out of them. Growing more plants with...

Does Anyone Know How To Pass Police Urine Test?

FYI: The specimen release I signed(numerous times) clearly stated: "Drinking more than 8 oz of liquid before the test renders the results invalid. Please inform the tester if you have consumed more than this." Which is why they give you a 4-6 oz Dixie cup of water, if you need it, and they...

    question on ballasts and cooling

It depends if your ballast is remote or not. Some have plug-in cords with an mogul socket on the end of it(this seems to be the preferred), others are integrated into the fixture/enclosure(which probably means you have to throw out the entire fixture when/if it fails). If I was you... I'd do...

General consensus? 36hrs of dark before flower?

The sun does a lot of things.... For instance gradual darkness and gradual light. Which doesn't make a bit of difference to a plant. Total net solar energy over the day is all that matters(decades of artificial growing has proven this). However, it also gradually increases temperature and...

    Couple of Questions...

It's probably bullshit. Dealers aren't that hard to find....

50-100 actual CFL watts per cubic foot of foliage does quite well. If you have the cash, get some HO T5s. They last considerably longer and put out a lot of light.

    is an intake fan needed?

Actually, in my experiences an intake fan can equalize pressure somewhat, but this is not always desirable. Having solely an outtake creates negative pressure(like a vacuum) and air will be sucked in. There is likely to be little if any change if your in/out fans are of equal CFM. Now then...

    question on ballasts and cooling

HID bulbs with built-in ballasts are typically fairly low wattage... so an external ballast is almost always a requirement. They control current to the bulb. Also, for HPS, an igniter is required(which usually comes with HPS setups, or HPS ballasts). HPS bulbs do not work without them. A MH...

    Switching Lights to Save electricity?

They're not totally off. They're probably dead-set on a single bulb type. So really, lumen rating is directly correlated to the PPFD conversion factor for their purposes. I'm not so good at memorization(I'm awful at Jeopardy). If it's not useful to me... I probably do not waste precious...

    question?

You'd have to do heavy training for maintaining plant(s) in that space. Perhaps even a horizontal grow in grow bags. How much width*length is available?

Went from stuneted to rocketing? + questions

The more foliage a plant has the faster it'll grow. Is it actually booming with foliage or just inter-nodal stretching? The two are not the same... Stretching is not desirable. Hairs are usually white(dominant) or pink(recessive). If they're green that's just part of the plant, both...

    is an intake fan needed?

An exhaust fan is usually more effective(if you only have one fan). You still need intake vents, but they do not need fans. It depends where the holes are. One in the ceiling, and one lower to the ground would create their own passive airflow.

    100W HPS lighting help!

You probably need a ballast(or two) for them. Hooking HID bulbs directly to household current will not work. In order for anyone to inform you about correct wiring it'd be best to know the exact fixtures you're working with.

Does Anyone Know How To Pass Police Urine Test?

You have absolutely no idea how the test works I presume. The test is 100% based on ppm or parts per million. Very small amounts of the drugs are tested for. Dilution of 2-4x makes the test impossible to fail. Though you could still get an inconclusive result. Which is caused by dilution...

CFLs 68watts(300 equivalent)?? is this true?

You'd probably be better off (wallet-wise) going with VHO T5/T8 setup. Pretty much 100 lm/W.
