You need a pH of around 5.5 (5.3 to 5.8 is the low and high ends). This does make a difference, but I am not saying that pH is your problem. I think you have a general nutrient problem. What nutes are you using? Also, since they are so young, don't over fert your plants. Go with 1/4 to 1/2...

I think that in general the basic problems were heat and nutes. It sounds like you got the heat down, and that is good. And like a couple people have said, miracle grow is not that great for hydro. You need to get yourself some hydroponic specific nutes. I recommend General Hydroponics...
