I have a friend trying this same thing with some solar spotlights from home depot.. Cost around $35.. Just started so not sure if it works, yet... http://www.homedepot.com/p/Hampton-Bay-Outdoor-Black-Spot-Solar-LED-Lights-3-Pack-79778/202352425#.Uao-Lejn9tQ
Not too different.. I veg indoors until they're about 2 feet and put them outdoors to flower.. Nothing special. I get good yields and don't have to deal with trimming large trees. Trimming is the biggest pain of growing to me.. Just harvested some nice colas from a Holy Grail today.. Good luck...
My clones get the same thing they were getting when I cut them off the mother plant.. They were used to a tsp per gallon when they were still a branch so that's what I continue to give them.. Just don't drown them. Different story for seedlings.. Go slow..
I just replaced all the bulbs in my t-5's. Was really shocked by the price at my local hydro shop. They wanted around $15 a bulb. Ended up ordering a case (25) off of Ebay. Price came out to about $4.50 a bulb and free shipping !!
Harvested 2 of my 3 foot plants yesterday and found a few of the bastards. In another month plants that aren't protected will be covered with them.. Take Metasynth's advice and get some BT..
I also put clones out around March 1st.. I harvested the last of them 2 weeks ago.. They finished flowering very nicely. I don't think those small non- serrated leaves are anything to worry about, I see them all the time.. harvest is always the same though.. I wait til I see those amber trichs...
All I can say is get a life dude!! That's the second time you've slammed me for commenting on my experiences !! That was the topic. If you don't like it go fuck yourself !!! What would you like me to say on here?? Make up a bunch of bullshit that goes against everything that works for me?? If...
I agree with Indy.. I stick 3 plants outside every month. I love those harvests every 30 days... I have never had to use any light deprivation though..
For me that's all it takes.. A reduction in hours of light to make my plants start flowering. As soon as I move my plants from 18/6 indoors to outdoors they start flowering..
I just got a bottle of BT concentrate from Amazon. too.. Between that and my Neem oil I'm ready to do battle with those F'n caterpillars.. I've seen 2 so far on my buds..
If it's a very heavy rain it could tweak a few of your branches. In flower it can soak your buds and the weight will cause some of the branches to hang down.. My plants are a couple of feet tall in pots. Not too much of the rain actually makes it through the canopy to the dirt in the pot..
I can only speak of my experience.. What you consider "facts" are just opinions to me.. Only because I've been doing this same thing for a couple of years and it just doesn't work that way for me.. I just stuck 2 more plants outdoors and will be very surprised if they don't have buds on them in...
