Having trouble root growth in rockwool

turn your system on, dont be afraid if its aero, along with all the water they will get they will get a major dose of oxygen, you can run your pump 24/7 or 15on/15off see what works best for you. for young seedlings you can (a) do nothing until it turns a little lighter (B) add small dose of...

' over/under watering are similar, i am sure you know what a thirsty plant looks like, but an over watered plant gets droopy and starts to yellow a bit due to lack of oxygen, i think you should try the back off on the waterings. perhaps 2x a day

micro first fo sho, but when mixing a fresh res i like to run the water and add my soup mix as it fills. for this system if you have an extra water pump laying around is great, just connect to a little hose and give it a waterfall effect so nothing rests at the bottom, with GH nutes you dont...

How do you keep clones fromm yellowing?

let it dry to the point that it is very light but the clones themselves arent droopy, its a fine line but you will get the feel of it. for sufficiently watering RW like a teaspoon should be good, i used to give a few pumps from a spray bottle each, but i believe Al b fuct said something like a...

go very easy with the kool bloom at first, as for h202 and hygrozyme its a no go, they counteract eachother, actually peroxide kills everything that is organic, hygro=110% organic, i know they say its compatible in low ppm but i have not found one article saying how much is enough, too much will...

How do you keep clones fromm yellowing?

another great technique from Dubs the pro. sometimes you ever ntice a cutting that goes limp from it not getting water? sometimes we get air pockets at the point of the cut thus blocking water, i split tips when using aero cloners.

How do you keep clones fromm yellowing?

ya know, it looks like his cuts are cut perfectly that the last node is just at the top , so that outer skin on the stem is immersed into the puck, this allows him another route on the stem for uptake of water and another spot on the stem for roots. on clones that are notoriously known for hard...

    Pruning plants

want to laugh? conventional wisdom says when you prune the plant goes thru shock and some stunt in growth, prune on an extreme level and the plant has a major growth spurt since the level of energy the plant puts into growth far outweighs any stress from shock...if that makes any sense.

air stone and water temps in the 60's will provide you with strong healthy roots, hygrozyme is protection against bad bacteria, also repairs damaged roots fast, the benefits of this stuff is endless, and you CAN wash your kitchen countertop and all your cutlery with it. theres very few products...

How do you keep clones fromm yellowing?

i agree totally with Mr coulier, RW holds onto water big time, i usually soak with 3ml/qt of thrive alive its a 1-1-1 formula so theres some minor nutrition, as i pull the cubes out of the water i squeeze them so i get that extra water out and it sucks oxygen into the cube, you can tell when you...

low humidty is fine over 70% is dangerzone, water should be ideally 65-68f for it to hold the maximum amount of dissolved oxygen, stay safe at max 72F, 75F and up is almost certain for root rot
