    Co2 tube questioin

I have the Sentinel CHHC-1, and for $510, it's the best investment I've made for my grow. Plug my heater, CO2, exhaust fans, and dehumidifier in, set it to what I want it to run, and forget it. True plug and play.

Carbonated water? ex rep to helpful

Pretty sure that water's got salts in it which are no good, but double-check. Also, it's kinda pointless to do that, in all honesty - you're going to spend money for little to no gain (won't hurt your plants and will help minimally, but it's not worth the time, money, and effort, IMHO).

    3000w Aeroflo2 60 site GDP AEROPONICS

BayArea, very nice looking grow. I see you've realized already, but as I was reading your thread, I was looking at your PPMs and saying "WTF?" = those can go way, way up without even being close to burning/hurting your plants in the least. What conversion factor is your PPM meter? Does it...

Fixed it - RIU's been really screwy lately.

    inline fan question

All these questions and more are covered in the link below, FYI. Veg tent gets about 2 or 3F over ambient temp in the garage. 425CFM exhaust pulling through air-cooled hood. 170CFM intake. My fans (a 6" and 4" inline) were $80 and $60, respectively (if memory serves). Businesslights.com

Any chance of growing anything in here?

Definitely the one below if you're using HIDs. You're going to need some hardcore ventilation to keep that cool, my friend.

    inline fan question

Somewhere in the 6-12" range, I'd guess.

    PPM meter???

123, with that meter, you needn't concern yourself with PPM - that meter measures EC, which is superior to PPM. Do a search for a better explanation, but keeping it brief, EC is the same as measured by anyone, but PPM can vary (depending on the conversion factor used in the meter). Long story...

    inline fan question

I'd go bigger. I've got a 425CFM cooling my 400HPS in a 4x2 tent (not hooked up to a carbon filter), and I truthfully wouldn't go any smaller. 1 time for minute is not adequate ventilation, IMO, especially when using HIDs. Check out my journal/Youtube links for pics/videos of my setup - I go...

If you use a Portable Air Conditioner, please step in..

Thanks for your input; truthfully, money's not that big of a deal to me ("easy come, easy go"), so I'm trying to spend what I need to in order to get something that'll definitely do the trick, as opposed to spending $1K and it not keeping my room (garage) cool enough. Actually been looking at...

Bubblelicious, New York Power Diesel, and Super Skunk in DWC

Well, here they are - nothing too crazy to report, just some new growth. That being said, just took another look at the five seedlings that are within easy arm's reach in the 4x4 tent (the one in the far right corner I'm not sure about because I was too lazy to get close to it), and I'm 90%...

What do you look for in a Grow Store..

Agree 100%. For a knowledgeable customer, prices and selection are really all that matter.

Bubblelicious, New York Power Diesel, and Super Skunk in DWC

All right, lemme take these in order: The exhaust fans are hung from the top of the tent by rubber bungees, which I like because they're supposed to help lessen the noise (although anyone who's watched the videos knows that it sounds like an airplane hangar in there). Also, I use worm drive...

    Lets talk about yields.

I'm shooting for .75 oz./plant this run and hoping to get about 10 grams per plant next run.

What do you look for in a Grow Store..

Per illegal's point, it's all about what clientele you're looking to get. Do you want newbies who will buy anything, or do you want people who know what they want/need, and are simply looking for the best price? IMHO, the tutorials and whatnot are "kinda" a waste of time - if it was me, I'd be...

    preferred cloning methods, a poll

So for the second clone (took it on Saturday, I think), I took it at about 10", and have the stem touching the bottom of the pot, which means that when flooded (every two hours), it's immersed about 4" deep in 2.3EC water. It's still bent over from the initial shock of being put under a 1000HPS...

Bubblelicious, New York Power Diesel, and Super Skunk in DWC

Quickie update - growth is oustanding, the largest clones are about 6" now and growing like weeds. All the seedlings are doing great, and the one Bubblelicious that looked like it was dead has recovered 100% and is thriving. Believe it or not, I think that this clone (the second one, cause the...

Balancing plant count vs. per plant yield

Depends what medium you use - should that happen in hydroton, then yes, you've got some issues, whereas with rockwool or coco, the fact that they hold more water for longer periods make their safety net more in line with DWC. And no, it's not just labor (although that's a large factor) -...

600w 2x4 SOG Afgooie Box Grow - Bitches

I hope I'm wrong, kiddo - just think that letting them get a couple of inches taller in veg might be the difference, but again, I hope I'm wrong.

RIU, You chose it, I'm growing it. Fucking Incredible!

Thanks much for the reply - after I typed it I realized that you're planning on growing 4ish larger plants and don't need the tray footprint that a smaller plant guy (like me) would need. Weird that you're having trouble covering a 3x3 with a 6 though, no? Never used a 6 before (every other...
