No I have not. I was able to correct the room temperature and everything is fine for now. The light is dimmed down to 600w and I will bump it up to 1000w in a week or so. My next light purchase will be a DE lamp.
So the temperature problem has been resolved so far. Here are the 7 plants in the flower room. I am using the 5x5 tent. I decided to run them in a vertical style grow. I have a feeling the strains are going to stretch a good bit.
I have a 5x5 grow tent and I noticed I have to run my plants in a vertical grow style. In my 4x8 grow tent the temps hit 90 degrees Fahrenheit using an air cooled hood. I'm sure a vertical grow style will run cooler due to the improved ventilation aka no hood. Are 2 600w bare bulbs cooler than a...
Well I turned the lights on and the temperature was 90 degrees Fahrenheit. SMH... I think I'm going to have to pop the ladies in the 5x5 grow tent and grow them vertically. I will make some dry runs to work the ventilation. I think it will run cooler due to more flow. Still trying to figure...
My new batch of living soil is looking much better than the first. It is cooking and making some heat. Pretty interesting. I did add alfalfa meal to this batch which I read can be "hot". Well here are the plants in the 4x8 tent. I'm not sure I can fit the white fire aliens under the 1000w light...
I have a ton of things running around in my soil also. Being new to organics I started freaking out. Now I just let it be. The little white bugs are most likely springtails. Just google them. That might help you confirm if it's them or not.
All the plants are over 18" tall. Here are a few pics for reference. I'm going to have to flower these soon. Hope they don't stretch too much. I took pictures of the front and top of each plant.

Just use the Apollo hood. I use a Thunder air cooled hood with the included bulb. I hit just a tad over 2 pounds with my diesel strain and Coco DTW. Save your money. I think my hood is 26"x26" or so.
Just got some homemade vermicompost but after looking through it I seen these getting it on. I think they are millipedes. Should I be worried about them?
I enjoy the Coco these days (trying no-till organics). What growing style were you using getting more yield in SS#4? I say go with what gets you the most with ease.
Why didn't you care for the 5 gallon pots? I have my ladies in 10 gallon fabric pots now but I want to try a few 5 gallon pots being that a have a few left over to use.
I have a couple liters of jungle juice grow and bloom that I got for free. What base soil do you use them with. I have a bale of peat, some compost, and some other things left from my no-till mixes.
