Just stoppped by to see how eveything is going in your world. It looks good from here man :) I love that you are going year round in the GH. I was wondering though, do you have a way to block the sunlight in the spring when daylight exceeds 12 hours?
Anyway Bro, looks amazing. impressed as...
Alright Bender, time to check in buddy. We are starting to worry about you now. Just a quick update so we know you are live. Good thoughts to you my friend.
This is gonna be rediculous man. Those buds are huge already. I am going to go out on limb and say that 35 gram bud will be closer to 50g. This one right here :)
Just spent a few minutes reading your post on the last page. I always enjoy reading your stories, you do have way of captivating a reader. I live up in Nor Cal in an area where deer are almost a nusience, but after reading your experience, It make me want to step out on the porch and chill with...
So a quick update. I topped the ladies today and it is crazy, because after trimming (probably the equivilent of 1-1/2 pounds when dried) I looked back in the room and if I didn't know what I just took out, I would say it is a full grow. The buds came out dense and a beautiful shade of...
I agree with the above post. If your tap is comming out at 32 ppm you do not need an RO. I used to sue an RO ( my tap is at 22ppm) and when I switched to tap I was able to drop the cal/mag. It says somewhere in the H&G literature that if your tap is over 100 ppm to use RO filter.
I still use a...
Here is a picture of the trichomes from my digi microscope. The resolution kind of sucks so I don't normally post the pics, but this is how I check my trichome maturity. It was like 50 bucks.
I just dropped the temps down a few degrees to try and bring some more purple out of them. Right now the ambient temps are 74 and the canopy with lights on is a few degrees higher. The temps don't fluctuate more than a degree or two.
Over done? Are the trichomes amber ( or brown)? If so how much so? If you have a loop, look close to see if the heads of the trichomes are still swollen and intact. I used to let my trichs get 50/50 before I flushed and they were be 75-80% amber by the time I harvested. It just made a super...
Oh, my bad. In that case the fluctuations are probably from the additives. House and garden says that ph will fluctuate after adding your additives.. ie budxl, root excel, etc. They say to make sure after adding the a/b to ph to 5.8, then add the additives. The ph will move a little after...
Looks like a good harvest man and I am gonna try the rice crispy treat thing. I have never done it all at once. I usually make the butter then make the goodies. I like the idea of doing it all at once though. I still have a shit load of butter in the freezer that I am too lazy to bake with. lol
I think he goes awol when he harvests. lol B get's lost in magic bud land. Seriously, he has a lot going on with work and life like most of us and I am sure he is fine. He has to be with he meds he grows.
Exactly!! They ripen most importantly. Especially when you have a lot of weight in the middle of your canopy. That way you don't end up with a 1/2 pnd of light airy bud that can sometimes look like a completley different strain.
Thanks rasta, they are some sexy bitches for sure. The buds end...
Damn Bro, first let me say being an ass man, I love the avatar. House and Garden are not all OMRI. I would use the entire line per the feeding charts for best results. If you haven't been to their official site check it out http://www.house-garden.us/ . Damn, I sound like a fuckin H&G...
Oh, I get what you are saying now. Yes, it does shock them a bit and also makes them very susceptable. However, it is only a few days and it is the buds that haven't received any direct light yet that I am talking about( you know the light green ones). What I do is take the entire top off a...
I do it every run without any negative results. They have a enough nutrients in the leaves to last for weeks. Last round I flushed with straight water for 11 days and the large fans started fading a bit, but the buds looked great at harvest. IMHO a 7-10 day flush in hydro is plenty long...
Thanks for the compliments fellas. I never get tired of seeing the pk finish. She is just so fuckin purty. :)
I drained, refilled reserviors and ph'd the water to 5.8. They will get a flush for the next week with straight water and some drip clean. I will probably take the tops first and let the...
