i do not see anything beneficial about leaving a plant in the dark for 36 hours between veg and flower, so if thats true, i tend to think its bad. i just try to stick away from things that dont happen in nature.

i would say it could potentially stress a plant to the point that it goes into survival mode and hermies itself in an attempt to save the species.
