nice im diggin it, i also use coolers w/holes cut in the lid. the only thing im wonderin about in your setup is the 1" chicken wire. ive not used holes that small on a scrog, but ive seen people use 2"... i use a combo of 4" plastic trellis and some twine running laterally every 2"... gives me...
kk, quick pic update... ive now lightproofed the entire grow room, and will be switching to 12/12 probably tomorrow... the temps hold steady at 82, and are only gonna get slightly cooler as winter progresses... everything is pretty steady, they are suckin up nutes and water, ph is remaining...
if youre in ohio you need to be a resident here regardless. in ohio you can do very small scale growing with only risk of a fine because its decriminalized. now, see the thing is, your post almost smells of bacon, but i think youre just not street smart or something... no one here should advise...

photosynthesis happens in leaves regardless of where the light is hitting it, where ever photons can penetrate. i would say the top side of the leaf is probably better conditioned, and naturally your leaves will turn and face the light. however, i wouldnt bother putting lights under there.
this is the setup i bought from htg's ebay store:

i would say it is probably going to be a bigger pain in the ass if you try to train now, but unless i see some pics i dunno... you will have substantial growth during the first stretch, but it may not even be worth it to bother. but then again without pictures, and knowing how many plants/lights...
ive bought both of my air cooled hoods+bulb+ballast from htg for about $265 on ebay. ive bought a good amount of equipment from them and shop at their store here in michigan about half the time... here is another place that i will probably start buying my gear online from...
im not exactly sure i seen anywhere in the law where it said a patient needed to be 21 to grow plants. a patient is not a caregiver, though a caregiver can be a patient, and a patient can be a caregiver. imo they are two very distinct personas in the law.

kk, everything is goin smooth, cept i need to get these plants on 12/12 soon, so i have to finish lightproofing the room asap before i have a jungle...
yea, after about a week or so im totally diggin using the other lid... i dont have water dripping down the back if i tip it to open it, temps are even more stable and i dont have a bunch of little styrofoam balls everywhere... not to mention i also didnt have to cover the lid in reflective tape...
kk yesterday i found that i had a ph issue, apparently my ph pen started to fuck up bad (i.e. taking 15-20 mins for a reading)... somehow the tip got dry or is fucked, but anyways, i caught the damage on the leaves as it was starting. i think there is only like 4 big fan leaves effected on one...
i made some changes to my cooler, i basically added a sub-pump so i wouldnt have to lift the lid anymore to drain/flush/fill etc... i also opted to use the cooler lid instead of styrofoam, and it works well... i just used a jigsaw to cut the holes, threw some panda film over everything for good...
