hey davey, I would use white tissue, crakerjax said this to me as why you should have tissue over flash. "By the way, the tissue diffuses and softens the light so the macro subjects colors aren't bleached out." so all credit goes to crackerjax, for that qoute. Any more tips & tricks much...

No I haven't been hanging a grow light on it either, it is on a south facing window sill and we have a heat wave in the uk, hence it's been pretty warm and drying up soil. :lol:

the water evaporated due to heat, and therefore the soil is then dry :lol:
