First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

Hey guys! Thanks for chiming in! Thanks for the concern joker ;). I'm sure I'll think of something to do with them. And yes, I'll definitely be keeping this thread fully up-to-date over the course of the grow. Couldn't have said it better myself! I picked up a couple 80mm CPU fans from Best...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

Hey everyone, Now that we've got this show on the road, feel free to post pretty much whatever you like! I am hoping this thread turns into a good discussion and reference for the small community of PC hydro growers.

Two pictures: Soaking rockwool and soaking seed. :) The rockwool is in plain filtered tap water that was adjusted down to a 6ish PH, perhaps slightly below 6 (I'm using a manual PH test with color reference... not so exact, but good enough). The seed is in this same filtered tap water with no...

I got really impatient a little bit ago and decided to talk with my girlfriend about germinating while she's up here, and guess what ... she's all for it! So without further adieu, I have begun preparations. I plan on using the water-soak method and go from there directly to rockwool. Currently...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

Huzzah! So, in the interest of entertainment and semi-full disclosure, I'll tell you a short but sort of funny story. My mom called me up around noon to say she had a tiny package for me that came in the mail, and asked if I was around at the apartment so she could drop it off (I was staying...

    Autoflower Thread & Resource Guide

Hi everyone, I'm fairly new here. A few days ago I started the grow journal in my signature. I am growing Easy Ryder in a completely DIY PC grow case using bubbleponics and ScrOG. I plan on keeping fairly detailed records, and as far as I know not too many folks dabble in PC case hydro grows, so...

Hey guys, some quick news here. I emailed sensibleseeds to ask if they could provide me with a tracking number because I read something that implied they would. Here was their response (within 4 hours might I add): So, looking good! Hopefully my seeds will arrive in the next couple days :)...

Yowza! Very cool. You've got one then? My roommate called when she was on her way home from work in order to ask for directions to the pet store, so I figured if she was already there I might as well ask her to pick up a couple airstones (I know, I know, but it saves me a trip for a couple...

That's the plan! I may or may not add a drain valve in my reservoir for easy flushing if I can think of a good way to do it.

Thanks for the thread reference! Some good info in there -- One of those nice RVK inline fans would be great, but they are pricey. The computer fans I'm using are rated at 90CFM airflow and 19dB noise output, so pretty comparable to the ones he recommended. I currently have 2 fans wired onto a...

Good question... I don't have a PPM/EC meter yet, but I'm thinking about getting a decent digital one. For now I'll be using the recommended proportions on the back of the nute bottles and flushing every few days (more due to the small size of my reservoir).

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

Hey thanks again Electro. I suppose I should be clear ... I don't plan on putting five additional CFLs in at while the large 125W is in there, I just plan on using different smaller CFLs for flowering. I'll take out the 125W 6500k and put in five 30W 2700k CFLs on the other fixtures on the back...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

Gah... slight setback -- I was double checking my tracking number for the light fixtures I have coming in the mail and realized that for some reason I only submitted an order for one instead of five. Oops! I could have sworn I had all five in my Amazon cart when I checked out, but I guess...

Electro, thanks for the response. I can try to be on the lookout for a bigger reservoir, but I can't really afford too many more inches of vertical rise. Plus *any* reservoir-type case that would fit well in my setup was pretty hard to find. If anyone knows of any reservoirs or containers that...

Thanks for the kind words, all :). Electropyro I noticed you are doing a PC bubbleponics grow as well. We'll have to keep each other posted. There isn't a whole lot left to do before my seeds get here, so I may be lacking in content for the next couple days unless I just feel like posting...

Hey guys, Quick update with some pictures here. I finished detailing the interior of the case, installed the fans and carbon filters, put the front panel back on (front panel contains wire bundle for fan power), installed the light fixture and 125W vegging CFL and powered on! Wow is she bright...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

Hey everyone, I'm taking a little break while sparking up a bowl and watching some TV with my dog, so I thought I'd upload what I've done so far today. I went to the store and got six things: Twist-on wire connectors A mountable light outlet for Feliz 125W (actually very similar to the...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

Quick update before I head to the store: I have decided to go with ScrOG. It seems like it will be easier to set up and provide greater plant coverage for my grow configuration. At the store I'll be on the lookout for a rigid, large-holed chicken wire or a square wire grid solution. Expect more...
