I have (had) a heater in there which kept the temps at 75F.

I'm from the U.S. and have nothing but great things to say about Nirvana.

    4x4 Tent - Blue Hash and A-Train

I'm also debating drying in the tent or not, but I'd encourage you to check out Al B. Fuct's dryer box - pretty simple, just a Rubbermaid with a fan and a heating element.

Are you talking about my bubble cloner?

    Lollipopping

No worries sir; not taking this as baiting at all. I'll try to answer your questions as best I can, but there are some that I do not know the answer to (and have no problem admitting my ignorance). I'm just gonna go in order, so here goes nothing....... 1) Yes, it will definitely benefit the...

    Sentinel climate controller reviews?

The only thing worse then a moron is a moron who acts like an asshole. KnowledgeSeeker is correct in everything s/he said, and I can vouch for that because I also run a sealed room (have exhaust hooked up, but never use it). And I've run my CO2 up above 5000PPMs to kill bugs and my plants (and...

    The Official Ghetto Growers Group

Krazy, I had to chuckle a bit at that second pic (not gonna lie), but hey, if it's working for ya, who cares what it looks like? ;-)

    Nirvana or Attitude? Vote.

Just reverse Nirvana with Attitude in this quote and you've got my answer. Have been buying from Nirvana for years, and have never had an issue. That being said, my next seed purchase will be from speedyseedz, and I'd encourage others to do the same - he's here on RIU, which to me speaks...

    Sentinel CHHC-1 software

Firstly, sick find. Secondly, have you used this yet? I'm kinda leery of it being a virus. Also, do you simply hook your computer up to the Sentinel? I'm not very tech savvy, obviously. Thanks for the link though, it's quite appreciated

HAS ANYONE ORDERED FROM SPEEDY SEEDS???RIUs NEW SEED SITE

Read the first couple of pages of this thread (in addition to our interactions in a couple of other threads), and I'm officially done ordering seeds from anyone else. You seem like a nice guy and an honest businessman, so you're going to get my business from here on out. Looking forward to a...

    We're all fuct now

Al, I'll pass that onto my sisters (they're in NZ for another few days before heading to AU on the 11th, so you were just in time ). Thanks again, and I hope that all's well with you. BTW, I know you've posted this before (and I know I've read it), but do you recall which thread you...

    C02 Question

I have a 4x4x7 tent, and a 20lb. tank lasts me about 10 days (steady at 1500PPMs, and only run for 12 hours a day). A 20lb. tank is gonna last you a little less then a week, methinks (assuming 12/12; if you're using CO2 for vegging as well, it'll last you only a few days).

    Lollipopping

That's fine, and there's nothing wrong with that. However, there are certain sick fucks like myself and Vidiot who are always looking to improve our yield (without increasing grow footprint or lights, both of which are finite entities), so we look for more efficient ways to grow. Some guys are...

    Lollipopping

No; there clearly is an inflection point (in economics we call that the law of diminishing returns) where removing more fruits does not add to the remaining fruit's growth. However, the question is more along the lines of: If you had a rose with three flowers, do you think that plucking one of...

carbon filter vs heat & humidity

Without seeing pictures and actually checking it out for myself it's impossible to be sure, but 99.9% of the time, the humidity will be too high.

carbon filter vs heat & humidity

Good luck, but even without standing water in there, the humidity still sounds like it's gonna be overwhelming. I hope I'm wrong and everything works out for you, but I'd be quite surprised if this was the case. Regardless, best of luck.

carbon filter vs heat & humidity

Exactly. No offense to the poster trying to tell him to go for it, but there's enough to worry about in a "regular" grow room that doesn't turn into a swimming pool once a week. Adding in more variables (and disastrous, crop ruining variables, at that) is not something any experienced grower...

Grape Ice 2x4 ebb and flow 600 watt 1st hydroponic grow

I've never used coco, but virtually any medium which stays wet and is fully exposed to light will have algae problems to one degree or another. And you can get cheap plastic pots from Home Depot or Lowes, you don't need to overpay at the hydro store for those. And I don't know what the "hemp...

Grape Ice 2x4 ebb and flow 600 watt 1st hydroponic grow

Yes, it really will be bad. You're going to have to use H2O2 by the gallon to keep that algae from totally fucking up your reservoir and causing drastic pH swings (wet hydroton + full exposure to light = bad news). So, you could buy $100 worth of 35% H2O2 to use, or you could buy cheapo...

carbon filter vs heat & humidity

A carbon filter is the last thing I'd be worried about with high humidity. How high are we talking? Because if there's standing water in the grow room, that humidity is going to be ridiculous, and unfortunately that growspace just won't work. You'll put months of effort in only to have your...
