Bubblelicious, New York Power Diesel, and Super Skunk in DWC

You're 100% correct; I shoulnd't do it, but there's no other way to check if they're rooting at all, so I give a gentle pull on them - gonna try to not touch them for another five days and see what happens. The best way is probably just wait until they start showing some good new growth, so...

Bubblelicious, New York Power Diesel, and Super Skunk in DWC

So, put the harvested plants into jars last night, and burped them for about ten minutes this morning - alll's well on that front. On the clone side, about 1/2 are showing some rootage (defined as giving me good resistance when I tug on them), so that's good - shooting to take the humidity...

Bubblelicious, New York Power Diesel, and Super Skunk in DWC

Yeah, unfortunately there's really nothing like that available - garage only shares one wall, and that's with the back of my fridge and stove (which should be good for natural gas, but that's about it). Honestly just gonna do the mini-split - it made sense at first, and still does - whereas I...

The Lost Art of Foliar Feeding

Spl1, love your attitude in dealing with trolls :weed: Now onto the real issue: 1) You obviously grow in dirt - would the effects of foliar feeding not be as worthwhile in hydro? I have an E&F tray that gets flooded 15 minutes every two hours (medium is hydroton), so whereas in soil your...

LUCAS FORMULA - Hydroponic Grow Journal

Yeah, I didn't notice any deficiencies, per se, but I'd like to try changing every two weeks and see what that does for me. I have a journal for the grow I just completed (in sig), and my next journal will start in about a week, when I've switched to 12/12 (hopefully). Rooting 196 clones...

Chiller In Lieu Of Air Conditioning?

Yeah, that's the sickest and most well-thought out journal I've seen. Looks like I'm just gonna have to go back to my original plan, which was an 18K BTU mini-split AC. Still gonna try to run a chiller setup in the actual flowering tent, though.

LUCAS FORMULA - Hydroponic Grow Journal

I used Lucas for vegging for the grow I just completed; no complaints, and no deficiencies that I noticed. That being said, I think I might go back to using the flora line instead of the nova line - the nova is just so damn thick and heavy that I get worried about it settling on the bottom of...

600w 4x4 HydroHut Silver Edition Grow With Multi Strains

Agree with Statik; all setups vary, but odds are you're gonna need a larger capacity fan/filter setup. I have the exact same setup as Statik and it works fine. EDIT: Terrorizer, go back to the first coupla pages - there's a lot of tent-specific ventilation discussion there.

Bubblelicious, New York Power Diesel, and Super Skunk in DWC

Yeah, didn't go out in the garage (lazy), but I think I'm gonna go with the original plan and just get a mini-split. It is what it is - although not 100% stealthy, with the outdoor unit forty feet from the garage, it's kinda stealthy - could lie and say it's supplemental AC for my central air...

Bubblelicious, New York Power Diesel, and Super Skunk in DWC

I'm gonna take another hard look in a bit inside the garage for options, but if there are vents, I'd just get a big portable AC, methinks.

Bubblelicious, New York Power Diesel, and Super Skunk in DWC

Thanks man, really appreciate it kiss-ass Got an answer from HI, it's in the other thread I started (link is above) - sounds like the chiller needs to be outside...........so we're back to square one (kinda). If I could find a good way to disguise it it may be an option, but a chiller's even...

Chiller In Lieu Of Air Conditioning?

Hello, I'm emailing to ask for some clarity regarding the usage and effectiveness of your Ice Boxes and Chillers. Long story short, I have a 20x10 fully sealed room with no access to outside air, and that is not chilled at all (summer temps can get up to 100F+). As air conditioning is not an...

Chiller In Lieu Of Air Conditioning?

Well, it seems as though a 55 gallon drum would work fine, so that's good. The link below (questions #10-24) seem to answer basically all of the questions - the only remaining question I have is whether the heat from the chiller would override the cooling it produces...

Bubblelicious, New York Power Diesel, and Super Skunk in DWC

Statik, my man - since you're the first person I've come across who uses a chiller, prepare to have your brain picked. What size is your chiller? What size is your rez? What temp do you keep the rez at, and how easily can the chiller handle it? How much heat (in your professional opinion)...

Chiller In Lieu Of Air Conditioning?

Yeah, it's just the security issue of running a split AC - that generator outside will get some questions being asked that I don't wanna have to answer :? And I do run CO2 - have three 20# bottles and also a propane generator which I'm probably gonna convert to natural gas sooner rather then...

Chiller In Lieu Of Air Conditioning?

Yeah, I wouldn't plan on using it on lights - would just air-cool those "standard", with a 425CFM inline per two 600s. I was thinking more along the lines of 4 of those Ice Boxes, with two blowing into each 16" oscillating fan. That would be ~1500CFM of 55F air being produced, in a garage...

Chiller In Lieu Of Air Conditioning?

The title says it all; I have a 20x10 garage that currently has 1600W running in it, that I plan to double to 3000W within a few months (600 watt veg tent, and 2400 watt flowering tent). Issue is that it's not cooled in any way, and temps in there can get to 100F during the summer. For a...

Bubblelicious, New York Power Diesel, and Super Skunk in DWC

Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking in regards to the heat produced - for the amount of cooling produced, it'd be kinda negligible, no? And the attic's not really possible, as that air is gonne be 110F as well, so that's out (it's almost impossible to get to as well). And I could probably...

    4x4 Tent - Blue Hash and A-Train

I had the same issue with my plants that were light-burned - they all developed that white fur ball that you're talking about. That being said, I'd try to bend them down a little if possible - they're most likely done their stretch at 4.5 weeks, so if it's not too bad looking right now, I...
