Redoctober, there is another thing I have remembered. When I brew tea, I always get a mass of slime and EWC particles at the botom of my brewer. I'm not sure, but I think that would end up inside your pump and do really nasty things to it.

I don't think it would harm them, but I think pumping air is more cost efective.

Andia, my temps are similar. I think you will have bacterial activity. Perhaps not as much as on higher temps, but I think you'll do fine.

So are the woors still slimy or just brownisly stained? If its just stain then you have solved your problem. BTW for your res temps I'd be using microbe tea.

And as it was said in the other post where you said exactly the same thing, this is bullshit. First of all, cyanobacteriae are definately NOT algae, they are bacteria. Algae are eucariotes, cyanobacteria (and other bacteria) are procariotes. Second, tea can stand in the frigge for a week...

SCROG noob queston. I'm trying to determine the best time to start flower. Plant has 1m x 0,5m area and has a diameter of about 0,5 m. Can I expect it to fill up the whole space in flower, or should I wait a bit longer?

I think I've read on ome of the topics that pondzyme kills other bennies. Can anyome confirm that? Is pondzyme too agressive to be used with EWC tea?

I'm brewing heisenbergs microbe tea. They should work as an enzyme breaking them down, but I was thinking perhaps there was some easy mechanical way I haven't thought of.

Now that my roots are f'cking huge, i'm noticing some broken off roots floating around, and I guess it is not very good idea to leave them roting like that. Is there any standard cheap way of geting rid of those kind of floaters?

Wow, just wow. My plant got from 850 to 650 uS in 24 gours. I'll probably be changing the res in 4 days :s What do you guys think, should I go over 850 next time?

There are different kinds of products, aquashield is just one of them. I think you should be able to get at least some of them over ebay. Look for mycogrow, ZHO, orca, great white, subculture, pondzyme... If nothing, try brewing microbal tea with earthworm castings.
