Dear moderators of this forum, perhaps there should be some sort of sticky/FAQ kind of topic where information like bad nute formulas, goood formulas, brewing recipes, procedures that have been proven to work and similar information should be collected, so that new people can easily find them.
I think it can. I think every one of us has had at least one fucking bad greenout. Now imagine someone with a really bad heart condition has such a greenout. I think it might be enough to push seriously ill man over the edge.
Then again, I have a stomach condition and aspyrin could cause...
I might be wrong, but I'm seing shitload of people using GH flora and having slime problems. I wonder if its only because its a poppular product or is there a pattern...
1) Yes, you should always use pure synthetic nutes in DWC
2) I don't think there is a limit, but you should change your res...
If it drinks half in 7 days, by day 12 most of the roots should be out of the water. pH could also go wild. They might survive, but barely.
Reducing temperature to about 10°C and reducing light intensity would help greatly.
In my opinion, you can never keep a res sterile. Chemicals you put in will inhibit microorganism growth to a point, but will never kill 100% of everything in concentrations that are safe for plants roots. Both roots and microorganisms are living cells, and although roots are tougher, chemicals...
Bucees, how did you manage to go 14 days without rez change? My girls eat most of the nutes in about 4 days and are singing "feed me Seymore" on day 5.
I know the feeling, but that is how it goes. We will try to help you as much as we can but at the end you have to figure out what works for you by trial and error. In any case, my sugestion is, brew some tea and when you change your res in three days wash your roots with water and imediately...
Yourass, constant tea brewing is not recomended because after some time one type of microorganism will outgrow all others and you'll end up with greatly decreased diversity or even monoculture.
Random avatar, I did a quick google search and found several articles describing the negative...
Thanx
I have an option to upgrade to 30 L buckets (about 8 gal), but I'm wondering, will my air pump be enough for that volume of water.
This is my pump...
For a smaller plant it will be enough for sure. For a large plant, probably not.
I'm just now trying to figure out if 5 gal bucket will be enough for my 2 months in veg monster (if anyone knows, please do tell).
This does not look good. Please provide us with a bit more info on your grow. How have you been brewing your tea, whats your res temp, what are you adding, what procedures are you taking to get rid of the problem etc.
From what I have gathered form my experience and reading this thread, you...
Damn, it's late and I deleted my post by acident.
Anyway it's my first DWC grow. I have two girls in 5 gal buckets each. I'm doing a scrog grow so they have been veged for 2 months now. One is a bit small for my screen still, but I'll flip them to flower soon. I have been thinking about...
