not sure on the voodoo. as for the leaves curling, is it up or down? on the tips or edges? curling can be a sign of several things, pH, too much N, or heat stress (increased transpiration). iam sure there are more, but those pop into mind right away.

maybe it was coincidence in timing. as far as i know, too much N will result in some dark green leaves, with a mild eagle claw hook to the tip of the leaves (pointing down). what i am seeing in those pictures looks a lot more like heat stress and a pH issue, but dont quote me on it.

agreed with not topping a flowering plant. as for taking a clone of a flowerig mother, realize that this will result in a clone that is flowering as well.

iam not positive but a lot of these 'legal buds' that came out a few years ago contained JWH-018(?) which is a synthetic compound that fits into the thc receptors in the brain, mimicking a short, mild high that fades away quickly. now the jwh is sold as 'Spice' or 'K2' and i would not reccomend...

i dont see why people are harshing on this dude as much as they are. keep in mind, some areas, however remote or even few and far between, recieve acid rain. iam not saying it will definitely be an issue if you rain is acidic, but you should definitely be doing a ppm and pH check on it before...

indeed, i at first also thought about moonlight. but of course, later on, we learn that moonlight is not in the usable spectrum of plants, and or is not bright enough for the plant to actually register it (at least, this is what i THINK i have learned lol). and thats where my actual experience...

i and many others prefer 18/6 or even 20/4. 'most' people will tell you they prefer a dark period, but others do not, and ill leave that debate for another thread. i believe you can get away with 16/8, but keep in mind that is only about a 3-4 hour buffer if something goes wrong with lights...
