Just so you don't make the same mistake when dealing with someone who cares that you don't know what you're talking about:
"in·stinc·tive (n-stngktv)
adj. 1. Of, relating to, or prompted by instinct.
2.Arising from impulse; spontaneous and unthinking: an instinctive mistrust of bureaucrats."
Clever response.
After two minutes of Googling I've found 7.7, 7.9, and 8.0 to be given as "average" pH of US/North American tap water, so again, I'd love if you could link us to that study as it seems to contradict what I've found.
And you're missing the point - I know how to pH my water...
I'd love a citation on that if you have one; instinctively and anecdotally I don't believe that's anywhere near accurate.
I use R/O water (but have also used tap for grows at this location) and don't need to use Cal Mag (the most overused fert, IMO) because it's supplied by my nutrients.
The...
The one I used in the Youtube video below can be found here:

And here's what that's normally open...
That white box mounted on the wall in-between my Sentinel and my AC is a watercooled CO2 generator - works great.
Drain to waste so I don't need to cool the water with a chiller.
Spandy, you can set your CO2 and cooling to either "split" or............I forget what the other setting is...
I have a Sentinel CHHC-1 and it's the best purchase I've ever made for my setup.
It's in between my ballasts and watercooled CO2 generator in the attached pic.
EDIT: I also had a Cap Gen1 that worked like a champ for me, so nothing but good things to say about their generators.
6" would be a useless modification if you're mirroring his dimensions/plant counts - the rootmass was not impeded in the least by the 4" tubing.
If you were growing less and larger plants, than 6" may be worth considering.
Yeah, probably won't be making any videos of anything with plants in it (not sure, but leaning towards "no" right now for security reasons), but I'll have a video coming up in a week or two of the whole system fully setup before I stick plants in it.
Wow, didn't realize this thread was still active...............I actually ran out of amps in my garage and had to get 15 more in there (75 total)...........it's kicking pretty fucking good right now.
"Reversion to the mean", brought to you courtesy of the "Law of Large Numbers".
As a semi-professional poker player, a currently unemployed bond trader, and a former statistics major, I had a good chuckle when the Martingale strategy was espoused as a "foolproof" way to beat a...
Without donkeys like him (and, no offense, you) than I wouldn't be able to make a nice living off of poker.
You've got years of playing before you're ready for any serious games.
Good luck.
Lol...........so you're about a 2-1 favorite and you lost that hand the site must be rigged?
Wowsers you come across as clueless..........ironically enough on another site I was talking about the ill heater I was on this past week...........go to post #250 of the link below - a horrendous...
If you don't trust FT and think "some crazy shit has happened to you", then you lack the necessary math skills to be a serious poker player.
Read up a little bit on statistics and probabilities and see if you can't "trust it" a little better with your newfound knowledge.
I'm a serious poker...
Wear one of those white wigs lawyers (barristers) wear in England..........they always make the wearer look older than he is.
BTW, you're full of shit - I've been playing online for years, and any young kid that's any good at poker does the same as me.
Lord knows why I bothered to post in...
A few other forums, but there's nothing go on over there that's not on here - they're also just construction journals, no real plants growing yet - I'll paste a link here to my journal when it's up and running - probably be around a month (going to wait until they're flowering before I start a...
It's a Utilitech 1/6HP pump from Lowes - looked for PSI and couldn't find it, but those motherfuckers move some water for sure - they each gobble up 600 watts (5 amps@120).
Probably somewhat of overkill, and I'm certainly not happy about having to dedicate an entire 15 amp circuit to three...
