Have the same problem, runnin out of verticle height, i just took the tallest shoots and wiggled them till they were flimsy enough to just fall over (supercropping) and now everything is copacetic
Na it all depends, the indicas could be focusing all their energy in root developement rn. I have 3 indicas and 1 sativa dom, the sativa was always the biggest till i switched to flower and one of my ogs just took off and surpassed all of em
My man, if ur only keeping it inside for a week or so, any cfl bulb will do, i start all mine under single 23w cfls before i throw them under the mh. The plants focused mostly on root development at this stage so as long as its getting some form of decent light you are good money.
Get a 400w or 600w hps, got mine on amazon for 150, 600w digital dimmable ballast with mh and hps bulbs, timer and ratchet straps. The ballast has an option to dim to 50% (300w) and 75% (450w)
They kinda just work out to be honest lol, i have them in a well ventilated room and during the summer when i grew here i just ran a little 5,000btu ac in the window and it did the trick.

Thanks bud! As of now heat and humidity havent been an issue. My main concern was light penetration thru the canopy, also if the space restrictions will keep the buds from fattening up
