Looked like a branch to me. But you may be right. The only one that can really tell with the pic is the grower.. . if there are tiny leafs it is a branch. And if a little pair of hairs its a female and no hairs a male. They will find out for thwmselfs very soon

Yep definetly branches. And it depends on strain and environment. But o would say within the next 2 weeks you will see a sex. And for females just look for white hairs.
