I measured the trainwreck this morning during bath time and she's grown one inch since the 11th though it looks like just bud growth only. I don't want them stems to keep climbing. Her arms are dangling fools and I'm figuring on a way to tie 'em up to give the stems strength to carry the huge...
In my experience the pot shops in No. CA start lowering their prices at the end of August when first outdoors is harvested and it gets cheaper through Oct. as more gets harvested and the market gluts. Never heard of harvest in Nov. especially way up there. I think the harvest time will be...
Right now the sun rises (in No. CA) at 5:38 am and sets at 8:40 pm which makes about 15 hours of daylight. On 6/21 it will be about 10 minutes changed on both sides. Then will start going shorter. I thought pot harvested in October in the western hemisphere, but maybe that's only the western...
I don't know the answer to if it's bad, but I'm doing that now accidentally. She's in the sun all day and under a bluish street light all night. When she starts to flower, I'm going to have to cover her with a barrel or shoot out the street light.
Thank you, beyond! I can't stand in my patio due to the heat, so the pot may even melt. I'm going to dig a hole and put the pot in. My front patio has pots in holes like that and it also keeps from having to water so much (at least out there). I brought her in last night due to a bad...
This lady has been in veg for 23 days and today her leaves are turning colors, not good ones. I'm using Schultz 10-15-10 every water and blood meal (just a little bit every week). From the descriptions on this site I'm thinking Mag and Calcium def. Any advice or comments? PH is right on at 6.5...
One day I looked in on my vegging p. kush and it was wilting like crazy. I checked the side intake fan and the damn thing was unplugged. Right after that I saw a post of someone's lack of CO2 and that's exactly how mine looked. Make sure you have plenty of air. I know you've thought of...
My patio gets 120+ with the glare and lack of shade or breeze. I asked at the pot shop and the owner said they absolutely love the heat. She's since tested it at 115 out there this spring in direct sunlight. She was all perked up and doing great! LA should be great!
Because I got so many buds growing good off tying down the right and left arms of the trainwreck, I pulled down a middle arm to shine light on the 5 tiny buds coming out of it.
As I did that I realized that that left arm was not going to grow up, stuck or not, because of the tie-down. I...
Get as much air on them as you can and if you can face a fan towards the dirt, that might help. If you have high humidity and have a humidifier, you could put that in there. I'm in single digit humidity here, so mine dry out fast.
I'd most definitely get a second person to help if you transplant. Take into account the size they'll get to and do it in the largest pot you'll ever need. With two people it will be a much gentler operation. I'm flowering my first plant and she's huge in a 10" pot and also in a cabinet. But...
I'm definitely going to have to use some kind of barrel because my patio is never completely dark. Mine's potted and if she doesn't get too huge, I'm thinking of bringing into a dark bathroom at night when her flower season starts. Would that work?
I'm growing my first plant outside so don't know what to expect, but I've wondered the same thing. Also, what constitutes the 12 hours of light ~ direct or just dawn to dark? Mine is in a patio where the afternoon sun shines directly on it only about 7 hours a day (right now). Isn't harvest...
I planted a Goo see on 5/11 and she (hopefully) popped out the next day. Three days later her root had grown through the rockwool and she was transplanted and put outside on 5/18. For the next three days and nights, it rained and stormed. A week later she was sitting in the hot sun (103 in the...
Yikes. I'm sorry I don't know enough about nute burn or why they're doing that. For the damn dirt fungi, I put a saucer of water with dish soap in the cab (also around my house for my plants if I get them) and dump 8-12 dead ones per dish a day. I also leave a new bag of dirt open for a day...
Unless you have a bunch of roots coming out of the wholes in your pot, Friday will work. It cracked me up to see that pot from WM since I transplanted mine from one of those (8" right?) to a 10". Also, if you have an Ace HW, their pots are way cheaper than WM. And they got great potting soil too.
I read a great quote: "Leaves curl up - too close to light, curl down - too much water." When my PH was off the leaves changed color, but didn't curl. Push something long and thin all the way down and see if it comes up clean. I let mine dry all the way out before watering.
Here's a pic of the left arm bud. This is the one that kept getting stuck in the tape. After 3 fixings of the stuff, I finally taped over it today and have now seen the last morning of opening the cab and seeing it stuck. Ahhh. The second pic shows the lights that I'm trying (still) to pull it...
I tried to get better pix of the top buds; one is already 3 inches high. I hope these stems are going to hold up under the weight of all the product I'm expecting. :-P
