    cfl veg / hps flower?

Dude, in my opinion, save yourself the trouble, put 1 1000w in veg and 1 1000w in flowering and skip other lighting. You are blessed to have that setup; I would kill for it. You will have plenty of coverage with a large hood like raptor, or xxxl. Consider it playboy

    Help my young plant!!

if you are trying to flower soon, top it now and bend the nodes that pop up. This way you will have a short, bushy plant. I can point you to a tuttorial if you like. Its by LBH if you search him up. If you can veg for longer, let it get as big as you can.

LED Grow 12/12 from seed with Jack the Ripper

Dont mind the NFT, those are the soon-to-be homes of my lettuces, few different basils, and a garden cherry tomato plants. They want to hang out with the big boys, so they get front row seats to the show. Jack rippers will be on the floor, and on top of the reservoir for the NFT, so will be a...

LED Grow 12/12 from seed with Jack the Ripper

Hey guys. I started this grow with HPS lighting from seed, but at day 11, switched to LED lighting. I don't like the heat from lamps, electricity costs, and all the wiring from both hood, ballast, and inline fans to keep the hood cool. Too much for me, so I'm giving LED's a shot. My...

My First Own Grow Journal, 12/12 from seed Jack the Ripper

Sorry about the lack of update. This grow just turned into an LED grow. I will be starting a new thread using led lights. Got a 240w blackstar led and a 500w blackstar led. Let's see how they do. Got Rid of 400w hps setup, and using 2ft 2bulb t5 florescent as side lighting for flowering.

Moving to RI in a few months

Maybe the guy loves growing marijuana and wants to do it legally while helping out a few patients. What makes him any different than you when you were getting your card? Trust me my friend. The way you entered this thread showing lack of respect and disregard for others is a clear indication...

New Grower first time, white leaves and drooping

Are you putting any nutrients in the water? Also, reduce that PH down to 5.8 and the plants will respond much better. It looks like over-nutes and Ph problems at a very young stage.

Moving to RI in a few months

Hey chunkyp, I thought this website was for talking about growing and helping others out. I don't understand why you would go out of your way to say something so rude. Mark may be posting in the medical forums sections, but I don't know if there is another section that is simply for Rhode Island...

    LED Light.

I'd be down to trade my T5 2ft 2bulb for it if you like. Used it for a month. Let me know if you're interested.

My First Own Grow Journal, 12/12 from seed Jack the Ripper

Day 9, and they are looking cool. Got total of 15 under a 400 MH light now. Hps broke on me over night so they had to sit in the dark for an additional two hours. Ordered a new bulb and should be here in a week. In the mean time, using my Mh bulb. The plants are small anyways, so if anything the...

    are my clones a fail?

First of all, do not use vita grow anti wilt. Clones only need water and cloning gel. Using the clone solution helps as well. What I notice when using the plugs is when you place the clone inside the hole, press on both sides of the cube so the hole closes up around the stem. This closes air...

Hey there Buddy. It's fun to hear about your experiences with your lizard friends. I would definitely follow your thread if you started one about your weird and unusual experiences raising those guys. I have used general organics (GO) for mostly hydro, but I have plants in soil at the moment and...

My First Own Grow Journal, 12/12 from seed Jack the Ripper

*little update* just ordered a 240w led grow light for my veg room. Should be here Tuesday/Wednesday. I am very skeptical about LED's but I'm using it for veg so I'm willing to take the risk. The reviews are great so we'll see. More pics tomorrow.

Hello Buddy. I hope you didn't think I implied you were inexperienced by mentioning the starter kit nutrients. They are awesome for someone starting to use generic nutrients instead of making your own. If you are interested in making your own nutrients, you have lots to read about my friend. If...

Moving to RI in a few months

Some on websites some on hydro store. Things like soil and soil bags and anything below 30-40$ is great at the hydro store. Anything like lights and ballasts and even some nutes are considerably cheaper online. Check out ebay; that's where I got most of my stuff. Got my 130cfh inline fan for...

My First Own Grow Journal, 12/12 from seed Jack the Ripper

Yep. The plants are not feminized so I do 3 per container, and after 3 weeks when their sex shows, I take out the males. With this strain, I noted a 1/2 chance of females, and a 1/4 chance of an f1 hybrid female. That way I can pick out the males and weak females and keep the strong ones.

My First Own Grow Journal, 12/12 from seed Jack the Ripper

Just noticed that those were some bad pictures. Ill upload more of the plants and the veg room on Monday. Once of the methods I use is I set the soil level well below the container level, and let the plant stretch. After stretching, I fill the rest of the container with soil so the plant looks...
