It is a 32 gallon tub sacked on top of a 32 gallon resivour. I assumed thats a little over 5 gallons space per plant without any medium just air. The resivour is underneith the tub holding the nutes so the roots are suspended in air. I have a net up now to space the canopie out. With that being...
I wish they were spaced out a little. Do you think they are too close to where my yeilds will suffer? Im going to lst the ones at the end outwards to give me a little extra space. I think my tubs are 38 gallons. And the root tub is seperate from the res. Im using 1000 watt mh/hps

Yeah I agree, however I do have to trek through the woods a mile and hide them and hope they dont get found. Last time I tried and a deer feasted on them. I dont have a yard I can legally plant them in.
Ok, what you see is 1 month old bag seed started in aerotable then transferred to 5 gal buckets to make room for my good beans. They are all female, even bag seed. My good beans are a little over 2 weeks old in the aerotub.
I have been lsting the shit out of the soil plants to keep them...
I've grown for 10 years in soil and my first go at the aeroponic system went great, my only problem was the root rot. Now that thats under control I think It should be good. I have made oil from 2 ounces I bought and seems to help big time. We just cant afford to keep going that route.
Thanks guys. And yes, simpsons oil is our plain of attack. The plants don't look any better today, not at all. Honestly the look way worse in person then the pictures. I just wonder how long I should give it before I try a foiler feed or something.
On the bright side 2 of my non feminized...
Oh yeah, sorry...
Light: MH/HPS 1000 watt air cooled (I pulled it back about 3 feet for now)
Temp: 74-78 degrees.
Res temp 69 degrees (I have a chiller now)
My brother is diagnosed with a brain tumor. after reading much success about oil we decided to try an aeroponic set up because the sooner we can harvest the better chances we have. I also have 3 plants in soil as back up but unfortunately they are not feminized and don't think 3 plants would be...
Zone uses chloramine and sterilizes the res which leads me to believe it would kill bennies. There is no slime and roots look a lot better after h202 bath. My only problem now is that the leaves are drooping
Also, I think my problem wasnt really root rot. I was using pondzyme to eat the algae, my problem started when I added DM Zone which now I found out sterilizes the res. I only ran a low dose of it but I think it killed the pond zime and left lots of dead organic matter in the res which was...
Just curious, how can it be too wet, yet a dwc bucket be better while being fully submerged?
Last night I added a 60 gal air pump with 2 stones to my 18gal res which is separate from my root chamber. Will this help?
Im using a vented aircooled 1000 watt mh, and ac. My temps stay at a steady...
They dont smell or fall off but I feel like its because its the beginning stages as my roots were white yesterday. I dont see how it would get nute stain over night because I just upped ppms from 300 to 350. when i run my fingers down them, little specs of brown are on my fingers so i assumed it...
I cleaned my res yesterday and roots were white. Now today it looks like I have root rot.
I have 6 plants in a diy aero set up.
Using gh 3 part nutes and diamond nector.
I do have pond-zyme and dutchmaster zone and 3 percent h202 not being used yet.
Should I run the zone or the pond-zyme...

Ive done it several times, just gently wash of as much as you can. It shocked it and took about 5 days to start growing again. I honestly think I prefer it to starting in rockwool though. Rockwool will transition better without shock but seems to be a little more trouble with moisture control...
I know some might say 5 days was too soon to transfer but my tap roots were already sticking out of the rockwool and I wanted to keep them damp and covered by the hydroton. Oh and I soaked rockwool in ph 5.5 and dumped and repeated 3 times for about an hour prior to planting. Now I keep ph...

I transferred them to my aero table after 5 days of cfl growth. Now under a 1000 watt mh air cooled lamp. I have sprouted under the 1000 before with no problem, I already had it running 24/7 for some other plants you can see in the picture. However I did raise it over 3 ft for now...
