i highly doubt it puts more o2 into the water, i just thought the loads of bubbles would be helpful in keeping the plant moist while roots are forming. whats a tried and true stone? JP

depends on the area you live in. in a large city like houston, i dont trust the rain water cause of the oil plants. just use common sense qand get tap water sit bubbling for 24 hours JP
