Im not sure about this, but i think perlite floats, dump you bucket of perlite into a clear tub and fill with lots water, Look thru the tub and maybe your seed will be laying on the bottom?

Dude, These freekin plants loved the A. Nutes, There was a time where I was feeding it every other day 1 tbls per gallon when watering. EC was pretty high but the plants just kept asking for more :)
