I am running in a flooded tube ala heath. What would you say would be the best starting ppm or better yet EC, going from clone>veg>flower?

I found this over at IC mag. Is the ph of 5.5 to 6.0 or 5.1 to 5.9 the correct answer Hmmmmm.. I wonder what kind of ph and ec swings Heath sees.
