i use those. i have 2 of each colour spectrum. for veg they are great. i don't think they are so good for flower tho. i've added some extra red spectrum cfls. check out my journal for more info.

don't worry gypsy, i'm immune to your worms now hehe. however i reckon with that tube i would need an extra 10" in length to allow for the ducting at each end which would exceed the the width of my tent.

cheers mate. that would be to big for my tent. it's only 60x60 cm square. i have seen another hood on the market that pulls air thru the top, like the one i made, which would suit me better. i do like the one you got tho, you can hook them together inline off one fan.

looking good bro. it will be nice to see your blue cheese progress. i think i did 4 weeks from seed to flower. after 2 weeks flower they have doubled in size and show no signs of slowing down the little bastards. i'm running out of space lol. keep up the good work bongsmilie

yeah now 2 clones have rooted the pump may stay on more often than not but the noise interrupts my televisual viewing. i reckon if you change the rez tho every day you could probably get away without a pump. i won't be trying it tho lol.
