i just checked the apollo 400w and cooltube is 6 inch. cant go wrong with a larger fan and filter i guess

i suck at math. how do i know what size carbon filter i need with a 400w hps. i think most cooltubes are 6 inch ay 400w but i could be wrong on that. would a 4 inch fan and filter work on a 3x3 area? or just go for the larger size and forget about it for a year?

ona gel works good on small grows. get the largest size you can afford.

when ppl say cfls are not hot they are talking about the small bulbs where you use like a bunch of them. the large are just plain too hot for most cabinets. i cant imagine how hot the 200w cfls get. like a campfire over your plants

i ran four 55w cfls. they are very hot. give you fluffy buds that dont weigh. a 400w with cooltube will let you grow a good amount.

dwc is awesome. no watering, quick growth,easy build.rockwool is a pain in the ass. adjusting ph who needs it. starter plugs work great. germinate them in the starter plugs. during flower you have to top up every couple days, veg you feed once a week an your done.
