If you plan on running a strain more than once, count. I’m not suggesting you harvest by the breeders recommendation but rather track how many days you took it until you chopped. It makes dialing in the plant so much easier on consecutive runs. If you cut at 65 but feel that way ls too soon...
I’ve owned two dehumidifiers, the higher cost does not necessarily mean better. Plan to spend $100-150 for a 40-50pint and you should be good.
I’m not sure about AC/Dehuey units our summers are super dry, but if you can get an AC that does a minimal of 30 pints as a dehuey that would probably...
As a breeder the best thing I ever did was lose all my hype strains, but most of them got pollinated first or they didn’t make the cut. I’ve taken in 3 strains in the past 3 years and those were tried and true genetics no hype.
I think everyone with a vault should put a pause on chasing the...
No, but I would only use the 4” net if using 1. Read my comment below.
I chop everything below the net around week 2, the top of the netting is was too dense to flower lower branches.
There’s a proper 1 net scrog, With LED’s only hanging 18” above my plants I find scrog to be optimal...
You didn’t mention any intake fan so I’m assuming you’re not pulling in outside air. If that is the case there is a very simple and cheap solution that will not cause light pollutions. Take some leftover ducting (4”/ 6” either will work) cut about a 2-3ft piece and stick it in an opening...
Some strains, mainly sativas, naturally have wide intermodal spacing and tend to stretch a lot in flower. In a situation where they stretch due a light being to far away or other environmental related cause, given environmental needs are met, the amount of stretch in flower is related to...
I defoliate a bit when I toss plants into flower. after 2 weeks in flower I do a a final lollipop and defoliation. Any branch that’s not going to get enough light to produce solid buds gets cut. Throughout flower I remove fan leaves that through major shade on buds and anything that is dying off.
Both, the only strains I’ve had preflower on me preflowered in both male and female, I’ve never had one or the other (given exact same conditions). I just spent 2-4 months receiving a male that’s finally not throwing out new balls.
They’re landrace though. DJS Blueberry, has a heavy Thai influence, inside under weak light they will throw hairs/balls. I’ve seen it on the Serious Seeds Bubblegum as well. I don’t know about Malawi but I know there are tropical strains that will flower under 14/10, revenging might only be...
What is your reveg light / light cycle? I’ve had plants take 2 months to show reveg results but I’ve never had one not veg, except for the one I killed.
I’d say you’re probably looking at 10-14 days still. Tricks seem to be all clear / milky.
Since you appear to have plenty, why not chop a branch in a week and in 2 weeks and compare?
