How are LEDs easier to maintain and work under? And more light for my money I would like this one explained too. For 400 bucks, under a 5x5 space , you can get 2-3 pounds. Link me to the led that can do this
I like gram per watt because if you go by a yearly basis.. The guy who does 5 runs a year spends a hell of a lot more on bills than the grower that only does 3-4 runs . It's all about what works for you. If you look at pounds per year.. I get the same As a badAss consistency grower only getting...
I think everyone should continue to do what works for them. But your not pulling 2-3 pounds from a 5x5 space with 1 light fixture from an LED.. And if you were, that's one expensive fixture
This is true. All shit aside its all about how much you put out to how much you got back at the end of the year . If my business costs 15 grand more per year to run hps.. But I yield 15 more pounds a year by doing so.. And can get fixtures light bulb and ballast for 400 bucks.. There is no...
Please direct me to those "big time growers" . I might be a prick but calling me uneducated is your anger speaking. Fact is, I get very high quality nug and knock yields out of the park. You can hate me all you want but I provide useful information to people trying to get to into the gram per...
I did pull it out of my Ass . But I am, and know many commercial growers .. And not one of them uses leds. If you were to even bring up LEDS in front of any good grower I know , they would look at you like a kook hobbyist . LEDs might be Awesome for closet growers. But they are an overpriced...
Get outa here with this bullshit. No grower cares about saving money over a 5 year period. Because 90% of growers don't stay put for 5 years at the same spot. Leds are for hobbyists and people who's wives won't let them have air conditioners for there grow rooms.
2500 per light is a great way of looking at it. That will for sure get you to the end. I did 4 lights for 3 years and I was an absolute tight wad about electricity and my bill was 12-14 per month. Dehumidifiers were what was getting me .
8 bags are 1.5-2 cubic feet . I'm not sure how much it makes ... figure how many cubic feet total do you think it would be?? 30 cubic feet is 225 gallons so use that as a measurement
It could be done. I don't suggest it. I just put together a 4 light spare room, didn't have to buy 1 piece of lumber because I didn't build a box.. And I'm still out about 7 grand before electric
Your numbers are way off. Your not going to be able to do 8k watts and a 3 ton on 60
Amps. First off unless your bringing fresh air, a 3
Ton won't even cool 8k watts.. Next your not calculating for dehumidifiers . Wall fans , floor fans , scrubber fans , pumps . I have a 9k watt room that pulls...
They make plenty of window units that can handle Cooling the room even without air cooling the lights ... The reason I wouldn't run the window unit is because of smell, efficiency (run costs of the Ac and co2 loss) not to mention noise . And cutting a whole in a house or having that ghetto...
I am renting and I have 3 of them. if you can't guarantee yourself 4 runs there.. I wouldn't even put the money towards starting a 4 lighter . With that being said, if you can do at least 4 runs, a few hundred bucks to have a mini split installed shouldn't be an issue . I wouldn't build a box...
I've had my best yields In a 4k watt 12x14 sealed with co2 and a mini split. This size room
Is very easy to pull a gram per watt if you minimize your working areas and fill the canopy .
No that isn't a good idea . Window units leak smell and piss out co2. You are not sealed if you use a window unit or a standing unit . A mini split is the only way to go if you want to make this the best room it can be . Why is this NOT an option for you? If you want to be a successful grower...
Define commercial. Pretty wishy washy word. I used to think a big grow was anything over 6 lights. Now that the margins are narrowed so much in California.. You can barely pay the bills with 6 lights. So what is commercial? 15 lights? 20 lights? 50 lights? One location or mutiple? I plan to be...
