I did pull it out of my Ass . But I am, and know many commercial growers .. And not one of them uses leds. If you were to even bring up LEDS in front of any good grower I know , they would look at you like a kook hobbyist . LEDs might be Awesome for closet growers. But they are an overpriced...

Get outa here with this bullshit. No grower cares about saving money over a 5 year period. Because 90% of growers don't stay put for 5 years at the same spot. Leds are for hobbyists and people who's wives won't let them have air conditioners for there grow rooms.

2500 per light is a great way of looking at it. That will for sure get you to the end. I did 4 lights for 3 years and I was an absolute tight wad about electricity and my bill was 12-14 per month. Dehumidifiers were what was getting me .

8 bags are 1.5-2 cubic feet . I'm not sure how much it makes ... figure how many cubic feet total do you think it would be?? 30 cubic feet is 225 gallons so use that as a measurement

Your numbers are way off. Your not going to be able to do 8k watts and a 3 ton on 60 Amps. First off unless your bringing fresh air, a 3 Ton won't even cool 8k watts.. Next your not calculating for dehumidifiers . Wall fans , floor fans , scrubber fans , pumps . I have a 9k watt room that pulls...

They make plenty of window units that can handle Cooling the room even without air cooling the lights ... The reason I wouldn't run the window unit is because of smell, efficiency (run costs of the Ac and co2 loss) not to mention noise . And cutting a whole in a house or having that ghetto...

I am renting and I have 3 of them. if you can't guarantee yourself 4 runs there.. I wouldn't even put the money towards starting a 4 lighter . With that being said, if you can do at least 4 runs, a few hundred bucks to have a mini split installed shouldn't be an issue . I wouldn't build a box...

I've had my best yields In a 4k watt 12x14 sealed with co2 and a mini split. This size room Is very easy to pull a gram per watt if you minimize your working areas and fill the canopy .

No that isn't a good idea . Window units leak smell and piss out co2. You are not sealed if you use a window unit or a standing unit . A mini split is the only way to go if you want to make this the best room it can be . Why is this NOT an option for you? If you want to be a successful grower...
