If you grow only 4 plants in that space Im betting they're gonna be pretty big. In that case I'd go with 8 x A51, that makes 2 per plants that you can angle differently, and independently from the other lights in the same room wich are used for the other plants. If it was more of a sog or scrog...
He meant we can swap the 65w panel driver with the 80w panel driver as long its both new models with the white diodes, just dont use the newer 80w driver with an old panel without white diodes.
About driver swapping: I asked the question to Hans yesterday when ordering a new panel, he said we can switch drivers between the new panels but not with the old ones... I guess he means the last version, with the whites.
I almost pulled the trigger on a 2nd XGS or a RW this weekend but I felt the deal was too close to A51's moving/holiday time and something like this could happen. Since Im in Europe that means I would have to wait like a month with overseas shipping and customs... so I decided to play it safe...
From what I understood the XGS is an allround light, as good for flower and veg. The RW is mostly designed for flower, and will give you a slightly better yield than the XGS for less wattage. Yet you still can use the RW just as the XGS in 100w mode when only the whites are used...
Waiting for the right moon position to germ the beans :dunce:
And still searching those fucking 16 oz party cups... cant believe its that hard to find overhere.
Awesome!
GG, can we say that the power you used with the Apache was half of what you would have consumed with the HPS if we consider that the HPS requires more climate control than for the led (AC, humidifier,..) ? I also guess your watering and nutrients schedule was the same for both grows...
One year ago i didnt knew shit about growing (still dont) but thanx to the advice from the people on here I bought immediately good panels (Hans, Area51) and so far I didnt had a single problem (except me opening the panel like a savage and tearing it up) and my only limitation is my ability to...
Thats already a decent amount to spend on lights. What kind of yield you'd want/expect? What is the size of your grow space? What strain are you growing, whats the size of your pots?
If you want to buy european to avoid taxes and long shippings, there's a couple of good companies to deal with...
@ Greengenes707
Do those prices apply to all customers, including europeans ordering by mail, or only those at the show?
I'll sure would love to get an AT120 for that price tag...
2 on top is not enough, I'd put at least 4 (6 is better) and then the rest on the sides (for each 4/4 space). You can squeeze 9 Hans on top in a 4x4. I feel like 6 is already enough and you can use the others as side lighting and have a badass set up. Thats what Im planning to do and I would...
Thats the spirit ^^
I wish I've kept all the money I've spent on weed the last 20 years and buy equipment instead. I'd be the the fucking Cannabis Castle owner now.
No idea how it works after the warranty's end... All i know is that when I fucked one of my panels when opening it up (was my fault so didnt asked for the warranty), Hans made the repair + upgrade from 65w to 80w + shipping for... 50€ and I got it back less than a week later. He was pretty fast...
Same here, I'd love to have a 4x4 with 4 x 80 watters and another one with 65'ers to see the difference. Only 3 to go.
And then I'd love a veg tent with 2 of his mother plants lights.
5 of them running in a 4x4 tent, in a uninsulated room with 28-29°C day temp at the moment: no problems at all.
Temp inside the tent: 30-31°C max. They run pretty hot in there but flawlessly, since almost a year now...
