I firmly believe whoever says pruning doesnt help has never properly pruned.
It does give extra yeilds. It allows you to manipulate branches giving you more tops. Were u refering to me being stupid for pruning to such an extent?
Totally ppm meter is esse tial, that will tell you wether or not the plants are using more nutes or water, failing that give them a brief flush if the issue ontinues its defdiciency. Thats what i do.

Hey i think they are doing ok. The first couple of weeks growth usually seems quite slow on top. This is the seedling stage establishing a root system, they then go into vegging, at this point the growth will increase substantially.

I had spider mites once, i picked up some vitality plus stuff, its a foliar spray that comes in a small metal container. I mixed this with water sprayed them then bang the mites were gone. Best of luck.

When i grow in coco with canna nutients i find the nutes to be very stable, pretty much whenever i have an issue with nutrients i flush and then hit them with full strength, 40ml even 50ml per 10l if i think it needs it.
