I figured it would help it a bunches with the air flow, and the water won't set on the top of my coco, will also retain moisture for a bit longer . Not too worried about a mess ( dirt and perlite) grow outside. The perlite and dirt will just be with the gods. . (if it makes that much of a mess)

No coco, I been using coco for a while I figured the perlite will help the roots get air. . and it will hold moisture longer ..
