    bodhi seeds

Really wish I had the space to mess around with my soil mixes like you guys. Thanks for posting up about your methods. I love the simplicity but also enjoy having the endless approaches to these organic soils. My mix is similar to coots mix, with some tweaks along the way, but i always re...

    loco's organic grow

time for the week 6 update. Finally got the extension put on, was a fiasco with the plants remaining in the tent, but got it done. The tallest cola is now sitting right at 16 inches under the lights. The other two tops are now around 21-22 from the tops. really think I should have done this a...

    Lobster compost

Looks awesome man, keep up the good fight. Definitely an inspiration to step up my composting game and look forward to hearing your take on this compost compared to others you've used in the past.

    loco's organic grow

week 5 from flip today. Gave them one watering with a little coconut water powder 1/2tsp and agsil less than 1/8tsp. Otherwise straight tap water on other waterings. Still haven't put up the extension, keep making excuses and being lazy, but it's coming soon. Got the worms on thursday and they...

PH 7.4 OUT OF TAP AND 170 PPM OUT OF TAP

Well said and thanks for going a little more in depth on this. I remember reading a ton of different inputs on this over the past couple years from various sources on this forum and a lot of the guys I tried to mimic more or less said the same, from what i can remember. I have not ph'd my water...

Aussie High Lights – we're official

cant wait to see those plants progress sir. here's my tallest plant at 14 inches from my light. I think it's time to get the extension on the tent and raise it just a bit. im thinking 16 inches from that top would be a little better. on a side note, check the red leaf stems. the plants have...

I need help with compost tea

Plants looking nice sir. Have you tried not adjusting you tap water or do you always adjust it? My ph when I was in colorado was like 8.4ish last time i checked there (cheap shitty digital meter that has since been thrown away), also checked it with the drops there and it was above 8 color as...

Brown spots, dry crispy leaves, and Yellow new growth

A lot more knowledgeable people than me around this forum, but I would personally cut out the molasses for now. Maybe that messed with the ph of the soil? If you have some ewc/compost, maybe try top dressing a little of that and start with plain tap water for now. I bet that would help out a...

    bodhi seeds

my first time growing regular seeds, so I popped 2 bodhi more cowbells and 2 gps sundance kid seeds. ive only got 1 bodhi more cowbell left, but it's the best looking of the three imo. I didnt train or top at all so things are crowded in this 2x2.5ft tent, but excited for the outcome. some...

Diggs99 : Everything GROWS anything GOES!

Hey, sorry if I missed it in an earlier post, but have you started using your new strips with the violet diodes in them? Also, are yours the same as the new offering on cutter's website? If not, I can't wait to see you throw some plants under there. I got some of the high lights boards and am...

I need help with compost tea

Yea, I'm far from an expert as well haha. That advice is great though OP and I doubt you find a better route than what he just advised. As long as you have enough air and don't overdue the molasses, I think you'll be fine. I've done it both ways, with the addition of amendments and just plain...

I need help with compost tea

I would check out this site http://microbeorganics.com/ . I personally would just use the castings/molasses for a compsot tea to focus on the bacteria/fungi multiplying and make a nutrient tea (let some sit in water for 24-48 hours stirring a few times a day) with the kelp. I havent used a...

    loco's organic grow

also here's some pictures of the girls 4 weeks since the flip. everything seems to be going well still. got the lights raised the last two inches i could go up, so now they are 14 inches from the top of the tallest plant. i can put the extension on sometime, but just letting it roll for now...

    loco's organic grow

finally got around to setting up some new worm bins today. the worms I ordered should be here in the next two days. I went with bigger totes this time. I used 27 gallons instead of the 19 gallon ones I used on my first bin. I used the compost from the outdoor piles as bedding instead of coco...

    loco's organic grow

was over at the parents house doing a little yardwork and decided to turn the two compost piles real quick since it's starting to warm up again. I mixed in a few cups of kelp/alfalfa mix I had on hand as I was turning. other than a few ammendments/little biochar/basalt, the piles are all leaf...

Aussie High Lights – we're official

didn't build my own cob rig, but I'm pretty sure the vero's in my timber lights are 72v @1400ma. I could be wrong and hopefully someone else can chime in and get you set up though.

    loco's organic grow

thanks man. right now they are pulling 180 watts from the wall on an hlg-185-48a. temps and rh fluctuate day to day with nothing really controlling it other than the exhaust. temps are generally between 78-81 and rh in between 45-55 with lights on.

Aussie High Lights – we're official

I started a new thread of my grow (hope you don't mind me posting it up here) with these lights in the organic section, https://www.rollitup.org/t/locos-organic-grow.1007161/ , if anyone wants to follow along and see some pictures. I wish I were able to offer more insight as far as comparisons...
