Bridgelux EB Gen 3 High Output 4ft Strips

I agree, digikey seems like the easiest site to navigate through when you're just browsing some things. I don't remember looking into seoul much beyond their high cri spectrums, so thanks for sharing those strips. Another temptation to buy more things i don't need at the moment...

    GLA Boards & Megacrop P1

Nice man, love to see some plants under these boards. Best of luck with things and look forward to seeing the plants progress.

Samsung H series strips, Arrow seems to be blowing them out! what a deal!

I'm sure the fact that arrow was sitting on like 4,000 of the 4k f series strips played a part too.

Need driver/wiring help with BridgeLux strips.

I was looking at grabbing some of these to mix in with some other strips too, spectrum looks interesting. I'm no source of knowledge, but I prefer trying to wire things in parallel, so some kind of 42v driver would be my selection. I would look at the meanwell XLG series drivers as well, a bit...

Pull the trigger on GLA HLUV or find a strip light?

I'm a really inexperienced grower so please take what I say as just a new grower's speculation. Only a handful of grows under my belt so far. I couldn't be happier with my 2xhighlight board purchase. Was my first build of the diy type led route and @Grow Lights Australia was quick to answer all...

Samsung H series strips, Arrow seems to be blowing them out! what a deal!

I had some of the 24 diode ones running for a few hours when I first got them. Couldn't feel any heat whatsoever at roughly 325ma per strip. That was running the strips below even the nominal current, but being so cheap I plan on running them pretty soft. Should all depend how hard you run...

Samsung H series strips, Arrow seems to be blowing them out! what a deal!

Builds look great. I grabbed some of the 90cri 561b's so would love to hear what you think of them.

    Qb 96's or SF2000???

I don't know much about the qb 96's but I'm pretty sure I always read that they are +/- 54v. Some other guys brought the lne drivers to light on arrow, so maybe check out these 185 watters for $20 a piece. Seems like three of these drivers, 2x96's per driver, would be a pretty cheap way to power...

    $2 f-series strips

I fired some up no problem a few times just testing things out. I'm no expert in anything, but I'd bet something else is off, not the strips. I'm sure someone could help if you got some pics of the set up.

    Microarthropods?

Love reading your posts man, you provide some great information to the organics section. I've had springtails come and go in the worm bins/soils before I started adding some homeade compost (leaves/yardwaste/rock dust only), but since incorporating that compost, the population of springtails...

Who makes/sells a reasonably priced red led strip?

Not up yet. I wired some up and ran them with a couple f series on a different channel for a few hours, bout it so far though. Picking up my baking sheets tomorrow and drivers should be here by saturday at the latest too. Just a matter of putting things together after that. 4 f series and 4...

Who makes/sells a reasonably priced red led strip?

Yea I went this route to try to add some reds to the 4k 80cri strips. 20 strips was $36 to my door. They seem pretty inefficient based on the datasheets and only 24 diodes, but the 120 watt 24v lne driver was only $18 as well, so maybe worth looking into as an option. Not straight reds, but the...

    LED Spectrum Side By Side's......

So the added blues for the amares are 470 on those strips? I've been looking at the bridgelux thrive spectrums a lot lately and they seem to fill the blue region pretty well while still providing the 660/730 with the peak around 630. Hopefully they will be reasonably priced as a diy option...

Samsung H series strips, Arrow seems to be blowing them out! what a deal!

Nice to see the drivers in action. I grabbed two 185 48v's and one 120 24v for $72 to my door. Thanks again for pointing these out though. I was going to order one xlg-200 and one xlg-150 from digikey which would've cost me $88 to my door. So with these, I added an extra driver and saved a...

Samsung H series strips, Arrow seems to be blowing them out! what a deal!

Thanks for the heads up on the drivers, about to grab a few to power these cheap strips up. Reading through the datasheets, I realized I may not be reading the efficiency drop on the drivers correctly. When they refer to "efficiency vs load %" in the graphs, does the "load" refer to the wattage...

Samsung H series strips, Arrow seems to be blowing them out! what a deal!

Scored some free unused aluminum shelving pieces from work today. Got 5 of these pieces. Each one is just under 5 feet and the middle channel is right around an inch, so 24mm strips fit perfectly inside. Just have to take the reflective piece and tape off. They do have a light finish on them...

    Lobster compost

Beautiful plants sir. I jumped my sister's shit the other day for not composting her crab shells after a big crab boil she had done, referencing this thread. Wish you continued success sir.

    HELP!!! BUGS after compost tea

I love my spring tails. They came in with some outdoor compost I put in my worm bins and have been present since. They thrive in the bins and I notice things breakdown a bit faster in there now, especially shells and skins of the scraps. The worms seems happy as well so figure everything is just...

    cheap blurple drivers

Finally got around to picking up 20 of these https://www.arrow.com/en/products/si-b9w111560ww/samsung-electronics that I have been posting about, so I wired them up to a channel on this driver in 2s2p to see how they handle 325ish ma per strip. At the wall, they are pulling 34.5 watts after 30...

    Better Veg Spectrum

https://www.arrow.com/en/products/si-b9w111560ww/samsung-electronics I bought some of these 2700k 90cri to mix in with some standard 4k strips. I have no experience with either yet, but thought it was a cheap way to be able to try out a different spectrum. They are far from efficient and not...
