Already planning for next year.. Tips?

lol I have almost 2 truck loads of composted horse manure but I get what you're saying. I think that it is a little different with super soil because it has to "cool down" after it has been "cooked".

Already planning for next year.. Tips?

This will all depend on what your growing skills/preferences are. If you are good at SOG a bunch of autoflower strains would be what I would use. However many of the highest yielding strains are photoperiod and most likely will do better with some room for training. I can only tell you what...

Already planning for next year.. Tips?

The only suggestion I could make is to do your research on yield of the various strains that are out there, and if you are going organic, you could get started on your "super soil". I read that the longer it has to "cool" the better. Otherwise all I can offer is "good luck."

    White Widow Trichome report

She's a beauty! My plant is just 3' tall. So I won't get as much as you will. Still, I don't think that I did too bad considering that this is my first time growing all the way to harvest time. Also got a late start, since I got the seeds on May 17.

    Trichs and direct sunlight

Back to the original topic of this thread.... I took some pictures of my plants on a cloudy day. You can still see the trichomes with high enough magnification.....

    Trichs and direct sunlight

Trichomes are still there. Use some magnification and look closely, you'll see the little sweethearts. Just easier to see the reflections of full sunlight on the trichomes. At least, that's how it works for me.

    Bud rot or what

Yeah I had 1 bud showing the same thing, so I cut the whole branch off. The rest of the plant looks good so far. But then I look at my plants at least twice a day, more usually. You don't have any other plants showing up like this do you? Look closely at all of the buds on any other close by...

What am i messing up for these seedling?

Lol no pictures. I hadn't really considered that about only the top portion of the soils perlite floating up. It makes sense. Actually it makes a lot of sense, especially with the size pots that I'm using. I know that the organic soil I used as my base soil had perlite in it, and I haven't...

What am i messing up for these seedling?

O Oh I agree that perlite has some advantage over sand. However if the perlite doesn't stay mixed up with the soil, you lose ALL benefits of perlite because then it is sitting on TOP of the soil and not in it. THAT is the only problem I have with perlite. It's like having a thousand dollar...

What am i messing up for these seedling?

Okay so I am a fairly new grower myself. Why does everyone always suggest perlite instead of sand? Just my personal preference, but I don't care for perlite. If you need to flush (as I had to) perlite tends to float losing all of the benefits that it is intended for. Sand on the other hand...

What am i messing up for these seedling?

Looks like a nutrient problem to me, but I am a new grower myself. Mind if I suggest you checking out Growweedeasy? Leafly is another good source of information too. Nutrient problems can be caused by PH problems or too much nutes or "lockout". Watering too much can also cause nutrient...

    Do you smoke your clippings?

Back to the original theme of this thread..... I cut down a male bagseed plant and took all of the buds that were on it. I must say that even though it's male flower, it's better than the smoke it came from!! I can't believe that! Everything that I have read says that the female flower is a...

    Do you smoke your clippings?

I have read that if your plants get even a few seconds of light while it is supposed to be dark, plants can stop the flowering process altogether. It's CONTINUING uninterrupted DARKNESS that causes the plants to flower. I am fairly new to growing MMJ myself, so all I can relate is what I have...
