kinda can taste the soil, WTF?

Does not sound like a problem to me. I grow in soil and all organic, sometimes certain strains will hold more of an earthy flavor. I have never minded it or considered it a problem. Sounds like you did a great job!

    First grow build, advice appreciated.

Your room looks solid, and I think that those tubes are probably a fine size to hold 2 plants each, but, if this is your first grow I would recommend doing at least 1 run in soil to get the basics of growing. Your yield expectations are very high even for a grower with lots of experience. I have...

    pound for my next grow?

Jumping in late here, my old grow setup had 2 600 watt in it and I got over 2 lbs from every grow(2.4 for my best run on that setup). 12 plants in 5 gallon post mostly growing GDP, a pretty high yielding strain. So you can easily get a pound off of 1 600 watt.

Berry Ryder.. tips turning yellow first leaves dying. nute burn?

Just looks like a mild burn to me. A few waterings with regular water should resolve the problem. Try using guano as a natural way to get you plants what they need w/o expensive chemicals that burn. I went full organic a few grows back, not looking back.

Noob Grow 25 days from sprout, just transplanted...Whatcha think?

Nice work so far. Start doing some low stress training soon, and maybe cropping also once they are happy and rooted in their new pots. Are you planning to transplant again before flower? I wouldn't recommend flowering in anything smaller than a 3 gallon pot in most situations.

    topping

Its not "to late" but topping right now will remove the best bud site on your plant and it might not veg much more before budset. Another option is to wait and see where the strongest bud sites develop, then cull some of the weaker flowers. I usually do that cull process to most of my plants in...

    Yellow leaves

Sounds like you are burning them, flush a few gallons of water through each plant then give them a few days and see what they do. I recommend flushing with R/O water if you have the means. Post pics, that always helps.

How Many People Still Use Magnetic Ballasts?

I will look at LED light when I talk to some people getting anywhere close to the same results as HID. I can easily pull 4+ oz per plant in soil with HID lights, I have yet to talk to anyone using led getting those kind of results on a standard cycle.

Need help with soil and transplanting

Should be fine to use. The cold is more likely to kill healthy soil activity than to cause unwanted mold or fungus to occur.

Around 4 weeks into flowering (outdoor) pistils, strong smell but no buds???

Looks like it is ontrack, another 4-6 weeks and it should be looking nice and ripe. Next grow try to do a little cropping and training, you will double the yield on a plant like that if ya do.

    Just looking for advice

Time to give them some food. Yellowing like that is usually due to lack of nitrogen, particularly early in the grow. And since you have not given nutes yet, we know that is not the problem. Feed with a very mild N based fertilizer and I bet you see results within 48 hours.

what is this on my leaves?

Neem oil also leaves residue, hard to tell from the photos, but it could easily just be some residue from the neem oil. Hard to tell from your photos, but it does not look like mold or mildew to me. BTW I would NOT use azamax if you are into flowering, it can take weeks for that stuff to work...

    Temperatures - Need Experience

This is the hands down best way to make butter, there are lots of ways to do it. I learned the following technique form an issue of high times in the late 90's and it works better than any other way I have tried. The best thing about this technique is you get close to maximum thc extraction and...

Grow tent question and heat issue

You could always try using a 12/1 light cycle until you get you cooling situation dealt with, by getting a cool tube(the only real and best fix). Just set you time for 12 hrs on-5.5 hrs dark-1 hr on-5.5 hrs dark. This will keep your plant is full veg mode but help you deal with the temp, and...

To Nute or not to Nute?

Right now with the plants at that size in FFOF I think I would wait on adding more nutrients. I can barely see any yellowing in your picture, and it could still be shock from the high ph. FFOF has pretty good nutes built in, so a plant of that size should still have plenty of juice. Maybe give...
