Ah OK, you only need a small section to drop down the side of your tent though to stop light entering through that port though.

How about using some ducting to come from that port and then you can bend it away so no light enters your tent. You can even use the ducting to go towards an open window to vent out any smells/heat.

Lol, i love this. They'll be fine now you have the light switched on. As soon as my beans break and come up through the soil or starter plug my light goes on. Keep us updated, be interesting to see how they turn out.

That looks right for that seedling, it should split open and then the first set of leaves will come through. In my opinion I think your beans and seedling are a bit waterlogged. Never let them dry out completely as that is also bad, but keeping them constantly surrounded by water is also bad...
