    Rapid rooters vs Rockwool

I much prefer rapid rooters, you don't have to soak them in ph'd water like Rockwool so they're quicker and easier to use, they're biodegradable and don't itch my skin, hate that, lol. I do grow in soil though so that makes the choice easier for me.

Long Time Grower, First Time Grow/Flower Journal

Here's a few pics from today, Pic 1 is Fat Banana, Pic 2 is Green Gelato and Pic 3 is the full tent. Temperatures here have dropped so I'm on about 28C and RH is about 55%. Not perfect, but my cuttings have settled in nicely and are growing well.

    Perfect mother plant

Wow Bro, 100 Beans, thats Amazing and something I'd love to do if I didn't live in a Country with such antiquated marijuana laws. Must be great to be able to pop 100 beans so freely without fear of that dreaded heavy knocking at the door. Just out of a matter of interest if you popped 100 beans...

    Budsites..

They'll be fine and you look to be quite early in flowering so they still have time to heal and bounce back. What week of flowering are you in? They look pretty healthy anyway, do you have any pics with the blurple light off, just because you can't see the plants true colours with it on?

I'm new here and have just read your original post through down to your new one and makes me happy to see there are still kind hearted people out in the world and to see that you have a new attitude towards life. I can understand what you're saying, i spent so many, too many years of my life...

    Budsites..

With Defoliation I think it's Growers choice like with a lot of different growing techniques. I know what you're saying, it is selective and there is an art/skill to it. Just look at plants that have been lollipopped, almost half the bottom of the plant is stripped, leaves, bud sites, the lot...

    Budsites..

It will still grow, no worries. Check out some info on defoliation techniques, not necessarily to try as can be an advanced technique, but just for interest. Its a method where you remove certain fan leaves in order to allow for better airflow through the plant and more light to penetrate...

First Ever Grow..bud sights looking right??

Always happy to help and I too only grow on a small scale, just personal for my girlfriend and I. You'll learn loads from the people here and researching, plus you'll gain loads of experience with each grow. That's a good idea with the solo cup and next time you repot to your larger final pots...

In desperate need of some advice about my plants

I've never personally had to deal with Spider Mites, but I'd try what Lime73 is suggesting, need oil is great and if that doesn't work just cut your losses, clean out your grow area and start again with new seeds or cuttings from a trusted place.

In desperate need of some advice about my plants

Wow, those clones are looking pretty damaged, so sorry. It does look like Spider mites, have you taken a look under the leaves to see any? They like to eat through the leave from the underside. Also can you see any webbing?

    Smells

I think you should be OK with those little plants, as KillaCarta said they'll prob only yield a few grams anyway so I'm sure even just a few air fresheners will cover any marijuana smells. In a few weeks when they're getting more developed and more trichomes start to form is when smells will be...

First Ever Grow..bud sights looking right??

Hey Rocko, your plants do look better during the day time, but i still feel like the leaves are drooping. I read through your Watering methods and schedule and still feel like it may be an over watering problem as everything else seems ok. Someone here may correct me, but the leaves on your...

First Ever Grow..bud sights looking right??

The Sativa looking plant looks better than when we 1st saw it, but i have to say all of your plant's leaves still look droopy to me. May I ask how you water your plants? Just want to see if there's an issue there at all. Do you water little and often or do you wait till they're dry and then put...

    12/12 from seed

I wouldn't even worry about the final weight. If you're just doing it for fun, just grow those ladies out and enjoy the excitement of finding out what your final yield is at the end. Good Luck

    Smells

Hey BB84, do you have any pics of your plant or do you know how old it is or what strain it might be? Just trying to figure out what stage of growth you're at so can assess when your plant might start to put out some smells. It will vary from strain to strain too, some are very smelly when...
