    Mick's Gelato - 12/12 from seed - Coco - MaxiBloom Grow

4 weeks from sprout. The leaves are getting huge. I topped all of them at the 5th node last week, which has slowed down the height growth. I also switched from my t5 fixture to my 650w led. No sign of pistils yet......I expect they'll start showing this week. The stretch should be starting soon...

At my wits end popping seeds

Rapid rooters for the win.........I get nearly 100% germination. It's been years since I had one that didn't pop.

    Canna Coco A + B Users

I never heard of a Coco grower using mineral salts and not feeding to run off........regardless of the brand. As far as I know, not feeding to run off leads to salt build up.

    Possible nutrient deficiency

I don't know about a nutrient deficiency, but you got bugs man.........looks like possibly thrips based on the white spots on the leaves.

Insane seed bank is a SCAM!!!!

I wouldn't order from them, just based on their stupid name. Always safe with proven seed banks.........I always order from North Atlantic Seeds.

    Trichomes: Transparent or milky?

It's ripe when all the pistils have turned orange and receded.......don't go by trichomes.

Plants dont recover after overwatering and transplanting =/

Just because I've never grown in soil doesn't mean I can't identify soil that doesn't have enough aeration. Additional perlite is always a good thing.......you can't have too much. I'm sure the coco is ok. Check with @GreenGenez421 for the correct mix and feeding........I have no idea.

I can't really comment.......I've never grown in soil. Maybe @GreenGenez421 can help you. Good luck.

    Mick's Gelato - 12/12 from seed - Coco - MaxiBloom Grow

Thanks brother! I think most of the time that people have problems is because they throw too much shit at the plants........makes diagnosing a problem almost impossible. They think the snake oils will improve taste and yield.........not. Plants only need the basic elements to thrive.

    Mick's Gelato - 12/12 from seed - Coco - MaxiBloom Grow

Three weeks from sprout. I transplanted into 1.7 gallon pots at 2 weeks old. Feeding daily to run off with MaxiBloom at a rate of 1/3 tsp per gallon of tap water.......nothing else. The plants look great IMO. No sign of pistils yet. I'm considering topping them this week........we'll see. Still...

Plants dont recover after overwatering and transplanting =/

I stand corrected. I based my opinion on all the failures with growers using a mix of soil and coco. Apparently you've got it dialed in. Well done!
