There are quite a few first hand accounts of people being blown away by the 8 day cycle, but you can always just put them into Grove bags afterwards, and really cure the hell out of 'em. Or you can just leave them in the unit to keep curing, from what they say. Pretty expensive storage box.

What's the actual reaction with ammonia? Is the ammonia getting used up as well in the presence of chlorine? Almost all the nutrient formulas have some sort of ammonia in them.
