    In House Genetics Thread

Here's some pics of a couple mom plants (47 days 12/12 from flip) from seed. I have Mac Stomper x PKB and Slurricane x PKB. The Slurricane was a bit of a runt, but you'd never know it now. I also HORRIBLY undersized the pots on these. I had to see it with my own eyes to realize my idea was...

    Hydroguard or southern ag gff?

Well everything seems to be going well with the Ecofix. I've had it for a couple days and my DWC is running strong. Thanks for the heads up about that stuff. Also, the hard rule has to be zero organic anything but the bennies.

a bunch of us have them, but I haven't seen anything in it's finishing stages... or flowering really. Everyone needs just a bit more time.

    Hydroguard or southern ag gff?

Ok, I'll order some up and see how it goes. They also make a product in their lineup called "Algaefix"... I wonder if that is any good??

DWC Root Slime Cure aka How to Breed Beneficial Microbes

I'm right there with ya. I'm probably going to give up on pure DWC and just go with a GH Waterfarm type setup where you still have a rez, but you dribble the nutrients over the top of a bucket of hydroton or even perlite, and let it drain back. Funny how many people used just one of your fixes...

    Inert Medium vs. no medium...??

@Drop That Sound I certainly get what you're saying. I'm wondering if a system like the GH Waterfarm, where the roots aren't in the water like a DWC, but the water is pumped up top and dribbles down over the roots that are anchored in Hydroton. I'm wondering if that system is any slower than...

    Hydroguard or southern ag gff?

This is fascinating, as it has been mentioned in alot of the DWC threads where root rot is giving people problems. I used AG in a DWC setup and ended up with this shit after only a day...but I may have fed it as well with molasses... I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure I did. DWC is a...

    Inert Medium vs. no medium...??

Anyone have some input if medium ( clay pebbles, coco, perlite, vermiculite, etc. ) effects growth vs. DWC? If you're doing a top feed ( DRIP stake or RING ), is there any reason just having media would slow the growth down vs DWC? My experimental DWC is giving me some fits right now. I also...

@F.M.I.L.Y So it appears the purpling is hit or miss on those. That no 3 is looking exactly like the keeper I've been posting. The frost is no joke. Congrats on a successful grow!!!!!!!!!

Ebb and Flow DWC hybrid idea

That would basically just be a RDWC system. I would be curious why DWC would have a higher growth rate than E&F. You should do some experiments yourself. Your friend may have some external influence under control that you do not. Better environment, better nutrients, better light, maybe...

Holy cow, just WTF happened here?

I'm doing some DWC experiments, because I haven't touched the stuff in a decade. So I'm testing sterile vs. bennies for keeping the roots clean. I have no chiller, no plan to implement one, either. So on this one, I added some SA GFF and maybe??? some light malt extract. The pictures are...

DWC Root Slime Cure aka How to Breed Beneficial Microbes

Did you ever add any food for the SA fungicide? Bubbling with synthetics, I can't imagine there's much to munch on.

DWC vs. bubble lifter drip ring?????

I was wondering if there were any logical reasons adding top drip using an airpump drip ring, like GH Waterfarm does, if that adds anything extra to the efficiency of the setup. DWC... the water is hyper oxygenated, plenty of roots are submerged in the mixture, why would adding more water...

I find it hard to believe it's even worth growing at that price... maybe it is, but hard to believe.

I took down the wild tent. 2.5'x2 Gorilla Lite series. Not too happy with the tent, poor design, IMO. This branch grew above the light... Blueberry Cupcake I'm finding this plant, although super stretchy and stringy, can very much hold it's own yield wise.

    Humboldt Seed Company (HSC) Thread

This is a second and wholly inappropriate tent for this strain, Blueberry Cupcake. Not only did it outgrow it, but because Gorilla Tent Lite made the design so stupid, that the top 12" is a HUGE pain in the ass to work in to adjust lights or any work where you need access to the upper part of...

    Cannatrol question...

That 2.2lbs is super conservative. I load the shit outta mine, and it will be 80% RH, and immediately within 2-3 days it's down in the 60's. Haven't seen a single moldy bud. There's 11 slots total, they give ya 6 trays with the unit and you can order extras. I've noticed you can get 2-3oz...
