    lb per 1000w?

12,000 watts in a 9 x 9 is going to be hot. Whether your central A/C will handle it depends on many things the first being what size is it? Assuming 3400 BTUs per 1000 Watts that is roughly 40,000 BTUs - IN ONE ROOM. Many A/C are rated at 40,000 for the whole house. (depending on house size...

    lb per 1000w?

You did mention keeping all environmental conditions right. Assuming you can keep the heat in check, keep feedings/waterings in check and get some good genetics I would think that is possible. I have one right now in a 4 x 4 under 400 watts and its an absolute monster. Looking forward to...

    Electrician advice

You'd be surprised. The grey PVC running up the house looks "normal" and like it should be there. Not off putting at all - unless you run it over your picture window. :bigjoint:

    Electrician advice

Often times when running from the basement to a second floor we'll pop a 1" hole to the outside, get 2 ea. 1" PVC LBs and 2 ea 10' sticks of 1" PVC pipe. Then run THHN (individual #10 or #12 wires) inside the pipe OR bump it up to 2" and just push your whole feed - jacket and all - thru...

Should be eazy peazy if he knows what he's doing. Good luck.!! And don't be cheating and using the duct work for your feed, the jacket isn't rated for that. Get yourself a fish tape and/or gopher poles.

    Electrician advice

I'm glad you said that, I was getting ready to ask if this house is where you and your family live and point out the need for safety. As an electrician we take safety very very seriously. If you've ever seen a 480v arc flash in a panel....you'd be blown away at the power that shit has. I've...

    Electrician advice

Adding a sub-panel has specific requirements that you'll need to understand especially if you start mixing metals but yes, its a damn fine idea. You can get a 4/3 aluminum feed pretty cheap.

    Electrician advice

In the biz, we always figure 1 amp for every 100 watts when working with lighting on 120 v circuits. This is not an absolute just a rough calculation to get you close - without grabbing a calculator. Use that formula as a take off when doing your calcs.

    Electrician advice

You're probably going to find 3 circuits upstairs. If this house is newer (built after 1990) then I can almost guarantee the bathroom has its own circuit, probably a GFI too. Depending on how you plant to run the lights, 3 circuits will handle this. 2 might handle it. 1 definitely wont no...

    plant problems. leaves turning brown/rust

Get out of that Lime thread. Lime is best when added while you're mixing up your soil - BEFORE you let the soil cook. If you add it now its likely to add to your problems.

    plant problems. leaves turning brown/rust

Be careful with the lime...it'll burn shit up if not used properly. And if you're going into flower then you absolutely need Calcium and Magnesium right now. I've never tried it and I hate suggesting something I've never tried it but I understand a crushed up Tums will net a good bit of...
