Yes it is very temperamental at times, but luckily theres always more then one source to the channel you want to watch, does take a while searching though. (Partly because theres so many damn channels lol)

Im using an android tablet via hdmi out. I used the little black box add on for kodi, you get a load of stuff, american live tv, uk sky channels live, virgin media channels live all sky sports and bt sports channels live movies etc... Oh and 24/7 simpsons channel.. Do you really need more?? Lol...
